Desk clerk canceled my reservation because they didn't like how I asked to use a restroom before I could complete check in. I'm a 64 year old man who just drove 4 hours and REALLY needed to urinate. I did not swear or threaten this person. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF EVEN MAKING A RESERVATION HERE!

Only gave a one star for being an old hotel. But it was very clean. Noisy as it sits next to a main street. Staff was courteous. The breakfast was not good, They really need to upgrade that. At first I was worried about the secureness of my vehicle but it was safe. I was there 3 nights and I was ok. No bugs and non smoking, that was good! Clean showers, and bathrooms. Mattress was a bit too soft for my taste. Served its purpose as a last minute inexpensive stay. But I was never able to get the TV to work! Over all it was a decent experience!

This facility has a very friendly, helpful staff. The evening clerk recommended a Basque restaurant we found intriguing.|| We found our room clean, comfortable and spacious. To the discerning traveler the motel offers a lush garden experience, with a room view of mature bougainvilleas and palm trees, reminiscent of more leisurely times past. For those with imagination, who want a break from a modern Best Western streamlined stay, this Travelodge offers a refreshing difference, assuming one appreciates vintage quality at an affordable price without the gleam of new plastic.

This is a nice motel . It's what a traveler would want in a motel . The staff at the front desk are very nice . The rooms are clean, spacious, non oder rooms . The beds are clean and comfortable. Nice safe area . Plenty of amenities all around ( Walking distance) to get to . My wife and I will definitely stay here again . Btw like all travelers we have all come across some real beauties out there where you wouldn't let a roach sleep in . This is really a nice place. Happy trails.

Hi, I have stayed many nights over the years and have always had a very good and safe stay. They have a new hire at the front desk. When I think of excellence,this young man is excellent when it comes to customer service he is a great asset for this Travelodge. We need more a lot more people like him in the service industry. I have stayed there maybe 50 nights. They have updated all the rooms it's always clean and safe. I do have to mention they have a new desk guy. He is the best, he is the real deal when it comes to customer service thank you for your kindness

Our car broke down and we had to stop late night at the travel in. Shiv at the lobby’s front desk was accommodating and incredibly friendly in a frustrating time for us. We were happy with our room, 245 felt fresh and well kept. Our friend said if they were in bakersfield they’d stay again.

We stayed to keep from commuting 2 hours each way for 2 days. I was skeptical due to other reviews. We were amazed at how wonderful the staff and our room was. They even fixed the bathtub quickly so I could have a bath. They were extremely flexible with us staying over and gave us great recommendations for meal options. This location was convenient for not only being within 15 minutes of where my husband needed to be, but it had meal options close enough to walk.
