Slot Canyon was okay before its closure. It wasn’t the greatest but it got the job done. Somehow they have managed to get worse with their new reopening.
The coffee itself is average. The sandwiches and pastries are the saving grace. Any drink ordered outside of coffee is guaranteed to be a train wreck. Their chai latte has zero flavor - you are paying $4 for a cup of milk. There are no smoothies available yet - their machine is still “out.”

Today I ordered an earl grey latte - hot water, milk, & a tea bag in a cup. A few minutes after taking my order, the worker walked up to me and asked if I wanted milk or just the tea. I politely asked for milk, as I had ordered. Another few minutes and another worker tells me they are out of the tea bags. I told them it was fine, I would choose another one. They brought their selection over & had two different choices of earl grey available; they were trying to make my tea with English breakfast, even though that’s not what I ordered.

In the end I got my drink, though I feel that it’s pretty hard to mess up a 3 ingredient drink & a little odd that I had to answer questions every step of the way. Perhaps better training is needed for the new staff.

Probably one of the better study areas/cafes on campus. The food selection is different than most of the venues, which is reason enough to visit, but they sometimes run out before the end of the day. Seating is ample and comfortable. Lighting is bright, and the room itself is open even after the cafe closes, which is a bonus. It's also very close to a parking garage, which is an advantage since that garage is where the off-campus housing buses drop off/pick up.

Awesome lattes and friendly staff. Prices are much cheaper than compared to other coffee places avalible around campus. Place is small but its a cozy environment if you can grab a place to sit. They have outlets so you can do some work or reading here. They have a option of tables or a couch seating.

Quality is hit or miss as other have said. Order a mocha and you might get a white mocha for whatever reason. Staff are nice, but loud. They break over the normal rumble found in the cafe with idle chatter about personal things I could do without hearing. Can be very distracting. Overall okay place to take a break or study.

The drinks were good but the tea was steeped a little too long resulting in a really bitter flavor and the lemon pound cake had the most sickly sweet icing ever. But for a cafe its alright.

Cozy little Cafe in the new ecological sciences building. Great for a morning coffee and pastry! The atmosphere is nice too, lots of seating and academic discussion.

I was really excited to grab something quick and study here however I am severely disappointed. There was no space to sit inside or out and when I asked a question about what sandwiches they offer the staff was rude and not helpful at all.
