Absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast! We just returned from our stay there, had a glorious 4 nights at the Lost Whale inn. The setting is magical, lush, and breathtaking. The service at the inn is stellar, so many personal touches. Home made breakfasts (not just cereal and toast), that were delicious! Snacks in the late afternoon and wine in the evening provided daily. The location is the best, overlooking the pacific. And so close to the Redwoods!

Wonderful place. Amazing view of the ocean with sea lions and seals resting on the rocks in front of us. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. Breakfasts were exquisite and plentiful. Bri and Maddy (our host) were amazing and very eager to answer our questions and make recommendations. In the afternoon, the Inn offers wine, beer, and a charcuterie plate. In the evening, an outdoor fire is made and one can relax and have smores!! This was a very relaxing place, and the service was amazing.

This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience. Tiffany and Brian set the Bar High for future B&B's. The location was Amazing. Listening to the Ocean and the Sea Lion's was soothing and enjoyable. Breakfasts were delicious and generous. Everyone was friendly and personable. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

This place is an absolute gem! The backyard ocean views are stunning, as are the surrounding gardens and forest. The staff are kind and helpful, and light a bonfire for guests to enjoy and make s’mores every night. The included breakfast is all homemade and delicious. If you’re looking for a cozy, ethereal place with easy access to the redwoods, this is it!

We had an amazing experience and are so glad we discovered this charming bed and breakfast! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure not only that our stay at their B&B was exceptional, but also that our time exploring the Redwoods was truly memorable. The property itself is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed.

One of the highlights was relaxing in the great room by a crackling fire, gazing out at the ocean as waves crashed against the rocks, all while enjoying complimentary wine. Breakfast was a real treat, and our only regret was not booking more nights.

This is now our go-to place whenever we’re in the area, and we’ve already recommended it to friends. It’s an absolute must-visit!

Great little B&B, around eight rooms. Tucked in just above the ocean. It is cute, quaint, relaxed, friendly and peaceful.
Very clean, well decorated and yummy food.
Lots of nice outdoor seating around the property, with privacy options.
Gorgeous ocean view. Small private Beach. Nearby excellent restaurants.
Will go back again and again.

My brother, his wife, my sister, her husband and my husband & I stayed at the Lost Whale Inn for three days/nights and had a wonderful experience. The food was good, the rooms were comfortable & the hostesses were amazing. We enjoyed every moment & hated to leave.

This location is a complete GEM! Before we even arrived the inn-keeper was calling to check in on us and see if there was anything we needed. Once we arrived we were pleasantly greeted and given a tour. The property is stunning. Our room (Orka) overlooked the ocean and was perfect!
Nightly appetizers curated for you, cocktails and wine when you get done exploring the Redwoods.

We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights and was blessed to have 2 dinners at the Inn. WOW! That's all.

The breakfast here is top notch! So much so I bought there cookbook!

If there is anything bad to say is that dinner service is not everyday.

An absolute must visit place!
