FANTASTIC FIND!! The staff was extremely responsive and helpful and friendly and it was walking distance from the waterfront area, shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. I do suggest asking for a 2nd floor room if you are sensitive to noise. The breakfast was included and despite a full house each morning the staff successfully kept everything well-stocked. The Hawaii-themed pool and spa area was a nice place to hang out and it I loved the fire pit areas to keep warm on chilly evenings.

I can't say enough about this fantastic hotel! First, I was greeted by two lovely ladies who were extremely helpful and informative. I was given a long list of restaurants and directed to neat spots to visit.
The pool area/Lagoon hot tub is amazing! There's a fire pit with a big bench that goes around. We're planning another trip up to stay there again. We're doing one full day of the pool and hot tub. I brought stuff to make smores.
The housekeeping was fantastic! In the past few years, housekeeping did not come in to change the sheets or any cleaning up. We went out for the day and was very pleasantly surprised to come back to the room to rest and the beds had been made and the room cleaned up (there wasn't much to do).
Last but definitely not least was the room rate! We checked in on Friday and checked out on Sunday, and my room charge was only $434.00!
This trip and hotel were by far one of my best vacations in a long time! Do NOT pass up the chance to stay at this hotel!! 10 out 10!!

An excellent stay all round. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. They actually have a courtesy limo service to bring you to a restaurant of your choosing AND to pick you up! Our driver was so accommodating and even made our restaurant reservations for us. Apart from everything, the gentleman who checked us in was wonderful! Aaron was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions without us even having to ask. He is phenomenal at his job and an asset to this hotel. The pool looks amazing but unfortunately we didn't have time to try it out. Next time hopefully! Breakfast was terrific too with plenty of items to choose from and even included fresh blueberries. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely visit again. Thank you!

At the end of April, 2025, I and three friends travel up from Marin and Sonoma counties to Eureka for a weekend conference. We stayed at the Best Western Plus Humboldt Bay Inn on 5th Street. It was our first time we stayed at this hotel. The staff was so very pleasant and helpful. They suggested we utilize their complimentary limousine service to bring us to a local restaurant for dinner. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. On our way to breakfast we passed the pool area which looked amazing and very inviting. Their breakfast was terrific with plenty of items to choose from. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely visit again. Thank you!

This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely loved staying here for my mom's birthday and Mother's Day weekend. The front desk host Michelle was so helpful in making our stay special and showing us all the lovely places around town.
The food and shops close by make this place perfect, not to mention the oasis tropical pool area. They also have a complimentary limo! Will definitely be staying here again!

The BEST hotel north of San Francisco! Clean hotel, friendly staff and an amazing pool area. You feel like you are in a tropical island when experiencing the pool/spa area. Also to add their breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay. Our favorite hotel.

The room was clean, but you could hear your neighbors. The bathroom was clean, but the lights were wired in a strange way. To turn on the main light, you had to turn on an incredibly loud vent fan. The shower curtain was a bit ineffective at keeping water in the tub. The pool area was awesome, easily the best I've seen at this level of hotel; gas heaters, a warmed pool and a large well heated jacuzzi.

Had a nice stay at this hotel. Being recently retired, we almost didn't stay as it was above our budget. But the nice people at the front desk explained all the hotel had to offer, and we decided to stay. The room was clean. Actually had good coffee pod offerings in room, Peets, not some cheap brand. The breakfast was one of the better offerings we have seen. A bit of everything, clean and hot. Offered a free limo ride to downtown restaurants, very nice touch. Beautiful spa/pool area. The exercise room was clean and offered a TV that actually worked. And 12:00 check out, super bonus not to feel rushed in the morning.
