Beautifully remodeled building that is comfortably furnished, clean and quiet. I'm traveling alone, so got the room with the twin bed and bathroom down the hall. It's been a nice retreat. The river is within walking distance. Love what is being done with this town.

Absolutely loved this Airbnb! Comfortable, quiet and spacious, who could ask for more?!? Great location for a nice walk to the local park, coffee shop or restaurant for breakfast. The area just added to the charm of this restored building.

Wonderful stay in Cotter near the beautiful White River. The Commercial Hotel is a gem. Immaculate, cheery, safe, and inviting, this hotel is tastefully decorated with both antiques and modern conveniences. Everything has been thought of and provided for the guests. Our room was beautiful and super clean. Large shared open areas and kitchen. Great communication with hospitable owners. Quiet location close to many fishing and hiking opportunities.

For a 121 year old hotel in a very small, but remarkably quaint town, the Commercial Hotel is a gem. The downstairs common areas sparked some good conversation with my fellow runners. The hallway restrooms were large, very nice/clean, and there were always plenty available.

The only mild annoyance was some squeaky (121 year old) floors. I’d stay anytime. What a great place!

Beautiful, spotless, spacious, accessible rooms. Tasteful decor throughout. Incredibly priced for quality. Lovely common areas and hotel kitchen stocked with items for use. Main floor rooms with internal fully accessible showers. Charming outdoor space with big, clean barbecue, seating, and areas to handle caught fish and charge boat batteries. History tastefully incorporated in this beautiful 1904 fully renovated hotel on White River with scenic, quiet river access. Great venue for wedding groups, social gatherings, family occasions, or weekend quiet getaway. Incredibly responsive hosts, from the local area, invested in redevelopment of historic properties for future generations to enjoy. Questions addressed immediately; hosts personally toured me through building. My 90 yr old mother with walker was thoroughly comfortable in first floor room and bathroom. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I cannot praise this place enough! I go to the white river quite often for trout fishing and have stayed in so many places on the river. This place is by far my favorite! It is a hop skip and jump to the water and They did such a great job on the restoration of this building and have thought of everything to make ur stay amazing! From make up remover towelettes to sound machines in the room ,board games and books galore , wood for the fire pit and snacks in the kitchen. The house itself is beautifully restored , professionally designed and immaculately cleaned! Even though this is a shared common area hotel I felt very comfortable and I hardly ran into other guests at all. Lots of bathrooms to choose from!! What u get for the price is mind blowing !! I will recommend the commercial hotel to everyone I know from now on. Couldn't be happier and will definitely be returning soon!
