Service was great! We enjoyed the chicken fried steak and crab legs. Unfortunately the bbq was horrible. Definitely go there for the home cooking

Chicken Fried Steak was good ,,Crab Legs were ok , but I sent the Willie's Feast BBQ Plate back !! The sausage was ok , the Brisket was so dry it was inedible , the Ribs tasted like they had been refrigerated and reheated

When we walked in and sat down we were waited on immediately. This was our first time eating at Chopping Block, so we ask the waitress what she recommended. Without hesitation, she replied that the chicken fried steak was excellent. She was right!! DELICIOUS!!! Good service, good food, reasonable prices. We will certainly return!!!

Well I do believe I order the wrong thing. I had the 6 oz sirloin, with loaded mashed potatoes and a salad with ranch. I was not a huge fan of the texture of my steak. The flavor was good. I just would not order the steak again. The Reuben sandwich was the best thing at our table. It was really good! My daughter had the grilled shrimp. It had a great flavor. The chopped sirloin was quite tasty as well. We were all happy with our meals. We would eat here agin! My picture are not the best quality, I’m sorry.

Hey all, I guess I ordered the wrong-thing…Brisket. After reading the other Reviews I know this place serves good food…but my brisket was not great. I believe it was old/leftover…and gray! It was eatable as I was starving. I ordered two sides, coleslaw & soup…only received the coleslaw. Probably won’t make it back here.

Chicken gumbo soup was awesome
We both got strip steaks and both smelled like old meat
I know the smell having worked in a meat packaging plant.
Even cooked it smelled

So disappointed 😞 We were seated immidently but our waitress (4 waitress were just standing around and literally saw us but never came over) did not come over for 8min to get our drink order until an older gentleman waiter (who was running around like ceazy taking care of people both upstairs and down stairs) noticed we still didn't have drinks. He went to the hostess and then the hostess told another waitress to take care of us. She finally came over and we decided to just order our meal as well. We both ordered steaks medium rare but they came out raw. Still cold, waitress never came back so I had to go to the hostess with the steaks. They took them back and when the steaks arrived they were a little bit better because they had a hint of warmth this time. Kids split an Alfredo which they said was really good.
Between service and food we won't be coming back. I would not recommend spending your hard earn money here.

So I went with my family as of a party of six a little bit after the lunch rush on a Saturday and we were so impressed! All of the ingredients are local! The steaks were cut that day!! I live in a larger city and was so impressed with the prices and their “pasture to table” approach.
None of us ordered pork or BBQ of, we stuck to the sirloins, catfish and pasta dishes. As a delicious appetizer we got the Cactus Flower and they have a wonderful homemade special sauce.
Dylan was a fabulous server!
