12/21/22: Back again to have a wonderful meal. I had the delicious burrito with fajita meat and sour cream on top. Hearty meal. Excellent service as well by Sara. Highly recommend this place.

Pleasantly surprised at quality of food and drink. Had "Alambre al pastor" it is grilled pork with peppers and onions smothered in cheese. Amazing. Ask for side of grilled pineapple... great guac, pico salad, rice and beans. Lunch portion was not chunky. Wife had a fried chicken dish. It was breaded with catfish-style cornmeal breading. Had some of the best homestyle fries we've ever had. Solidly tasty Margarita and excellent Horchata (Rice and almond drink)... Made from scratch, not a powery mix like at most Mexican restaurants. Service was friendly. Building was well maintained, nice murals on walls, clean. Clean restrooms.

Food is the main reason it did not get a 5 star review. So the food had left a lot to be desired. It mostly tasted bland and to best explain it was like it was all reheated out of the frozen section of wal-mart. I would have one starred it but their salsa was good. I feel their main courses are mediocre at best. Then the cost, for mediocre food they sure are proud of it. Service was great but doesnt make up for the lack of food quality. If you want awesome Mexican food, go to La Villa's. They have great service as well but their food is awesome
