House #46 was absolutely stunning. The best house that suited us for our class Christmas come together. Our classmates travel from out of state and the surrounding cities to come together at Chestnut Bay Resort. This house has everything that you could possibly need to cook with and just mainly enjoy and relax. The house was exceptional clean. The beds was so comfortable and the pillows were extremely comfortable. The kitchen area suited us very well and the game area was also a stunning hit with adult professionals with that kid spirit at heart. Hopefully we will be back on next December also. The only problem we had was with one of the management team. But we didn't let that steal the joy of Christmas. Hopefully in the near future we can use the empty houses for parking like we have in the past. If we have to pay a fee for that we are willing. Due to that we had 14-16 adults and all are not married and drive in separate. We have several cars. We are aware of the overflow parking. But this time in the area it was only us there. We definitely didn't see the big issue of using the house next to us that was rented. It was the overall way that it came over to us. Also we mostly arrived at night. There was a sign that says golf cart only in front of the house. By it being dark and cold you couldn't really read the sign. Ms. Ledsi stated that morning you all can read can't you. I did let her know they will move but when we got in it was dark and didn't see the sign. Overall we enjoyed that house we enjoy coming down to have a great time with our group. My office brings a group of students to Chesnut Bay every year in early February. We always try to stay in the Grits Carlton, and we absolutely love it. The house is beautiful and spacious, and the students love the cozy, warm vibe. We are already looking forward to next year.

Our family always enjoys our stays at Chestnut Bay. Our last visit was relaxing in Rental # 11. However, We would suggest either a ramp or better steps for entering. Also, porch lighting is needed for better nighttime visibility as the outdoor lighting in the area was not working and there was no outdoor lighting on the property. Ottomans would be a welcomed addition to the family area.

Over this past week my classmates met at "the main house"#45 for our Christmas spectacular. Spacious and nice. We did have a lil cleaning to do once we arrived but nothing major. Our rooms were decorated nice the whole house is nice. We have visited some of the others before. By far this is our favorite. We enjoyed ourselves and we will be back. One more thing an iron and ironing board would be nice..

My extended family has been meeting at Chestnut Bay for Thanksgiving for several years. There is variation among the homes but all have been more than adequate. The view of Lake Weiss is magnificent.

We just had a family getaway. We stayed in #7 Southern Manor. Great place, clean, and roomy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only suggestion I would make is, clarify to all guests that we have private docks. Several times, we had kids fishing on our designated dock. We couldn’t enjoy our privacy. It is stated on the dock, “private dock #7 only” but, kids don’t always pay attention. I blame the parents. Maybe you guys could add a sign or just stress to guests when they check in. Besides that, it was an amazing trip! Thanks to the staff and owners, for a great trip.

We stayed at Chestnut Bay Resort for a family reunion in house 58. It was an absolute blast. The house was very spacious and clean, there were many pools to swim at, the activity center and tie-dyeing shirts was a big hit for my kids, and the ice cream was delicious! I would highly recommend staying here.
