I was very disappointed with our experience. We had scheduled the class a month and a half ago for a bachelorette trip, and paid a $300 deposit in advance as well. When we arrived, the woman at the desk didn’t even have our appointment on the calendar. We were even asked if we could come the next day or wait 1-2 hours (we could do neither since we had other events scheduled for our trip). It was extremely unprofessional and handled very poorly. We ended up waiting 45 minutes before getting started and had to combine our class with another couple. We were given zero compensation or discount. I will say the woman who taught our class was wonderful and extremely kind. We didn’t get our pottery back until a month and a half later, after sending several emails that were ignored. We had lots of fun, but for the price it was just very shocking how everything was dealt with.

Our family had a wonderful time at Earthborn trying to create master pieces! Noelle (sp?) was a wonderful, fun teacher. Came away with a few good pieces, and bought the mugs that eluded our very novice efforts, LOL! Definitely recommend this experience - we all learned a lot and had fun. Thank you Noelle and Earthborn!

They make it look easy as they teach you - but once you get your hands dirty you gain respect for their talented artist - this was a fun experience and now we want to take a large group so we can laugh at other people - thanks for the amazing experience!

This place is awesome! I am taking the 6 week pottery class! Today was my first day and you get 25lbs of clay plus studio time anytime there isn't a class. It's a small class if 6 people (or less). I definitely reccomend going for the class or just to look at the handmade dishes they have. They have plates of all sizes and platters. If you haven't at least stopped by you should! (Pictures are of what I made on my first day.)

We went here for a pottery class and had a blast we had 10 people in our group and stayed about 3 hrs I would do it again I'm thinking of getting me a wheel and all the works for home . It's that much fun .

Me and a friend purchased a one hour pottery class a couple months ago. It was a lot of fun but we never got our pottery back. I’ve emailed to see if I could come pick up the pieces we made after being fired but never heard anything back from anyone. We were told it would be about three weeks. From reading other reviews this is a common thing and it’s pretty disappointing because otherwise we had a good time. I’m not sure if they sell other peoples pottery for profit or just throw it away but either way the classes aren’t necessarily cheap so I assumed getting what I made was part of the expense but I guess not. If it weren’t for this we would’ve 100% been back.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Beware of Wasted Time and Money

I purchased two 2-hour pottery classes for $150 in April. My husband and I were excited to learn and create pottery pieces. We had high hopes for a fun and creative experience, but unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The experience turned out to be a waste of both time and money.

The issues started when we were never contacted that our pieces were ready for pickup. When we were finally notified last week (we had to call), we were shocked that only 1 of the 8 pottery pieces we had created were found. The explanation was that the other 7 pieces had supposedly exploded in the kiln. While I understand that accidents can happen, the fact that such a large number of pieces were ruined raises serious questions about the quality of their kiln firing process and overall professionalism.

An employee promised to "make it right" after speaking with the owner. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for someone from the shop to call us back. This lack of communication and follow-through is deeply disappointing and unprofessional.

I am writing to inform others that while creating pottery was enjoyable (it was fun), Earthborn Studio did not deliver on its promises. The experience was spoiled by poor communication and a complete lack of accountability. The exorbitant price I paid for this class is unjustified, given the poor service and results.

I strongly advise anyone considering Earthborn Studio to think twice before investing their time and money in the 2-hour class. Regrettably, such a potentially enriching experience was a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. You can save yourself the disappointment and explore other reputable options for pottery classes in the area.

First order was wrong. Second order my fish was raw. I took it home and cooked it. So all I ate at restaurant was baked potato and Cole slaw. Very disappointed.
