The brisket was very good. You can pull it apart with a fork. Potato salad and mac and cheese were made differently than what most other places have, but it was very good.

THE BEST! As a self-professed foodie and BBQ expert, this was the BEST PULLED PORK I have ever eaten! Perfection! Loved every single bite. One of the best meals we
had when visiting for
an Auburn graduation ceremony! They do it right!

We have been dying to try this place and it DELIVERED on all expectations. The pork and brisket were perfectly done. TRULY SMOKED. The Mac n’ Cheese was homemade! Green beans had bacon! Outside seating was beautiful in the evening ♥️

We had take out. The online ordering is easy peasy. I had the brisket plate and my wife the Mac and cheese with brisket. Melt in your mouth brisket folks. I had the beans on the side and they are loaded with bits of meat. Really good.

Pretty tasty little spot for barbecue. I myself prefer babyback ribs and they serve on St. Louis style but they are pretty good. Had the pulled pork as well and a little over done but not noticeable. Sides are usual fare and service is fantastic. Would certainly recommend.

The meat is definitely smoked. If you like outside meat then this place is perfect for you.
The sandwich was massive and had good flavor. The pickles were homemade and outstanding. The pork plate and two sides were more than I could eat. The Mac and cheese had a different texture and took away from the flavor. The bbq beans had a lot of meat and good smoke flavor.
The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 was the meat with the heavy smoke. The meat had been off the smoker for a while which caused it to dry out.
All and all it was good.

“Hey Google, give me the best places to eat In Opelika.” Well this bbq spot showed up and thank goodness I was craving bbq. So let’s start off with the environment and staff. The environment is soo cute. The spot was definitely any other bbq would have, small, little house-like buildings with old paintings and the smell of smokes in the air. I like it. Sure it may have some scraps but it really shows how old and historic it looks. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lady that took was very informative and polite. And the guy that gave my food was quick and clear. Also to mention I went on a Wednesday. Now with the food.. it was okay. Mid. The brisket was very tender and juicy, yet it had a taste to it. That I didn’t like. Same goes for the wings, grilled nicely and cooked throughly yet it had a taste that i couldn’t describe. My sides were stew and baked beans.. I wasn’t feeling the stew that much. The baked beans were ok. Genuinely this place was okay. I can’t say more than that. Also grab peanut butter pie, I did like that. It was creamy and delicious!! You guys should totally check out the place for yourself. Everyone’s opinions is different. I won’t be returning.

Overall the food here is pretty good. The brisket can be hit or miss but the ribs are fantastic. The sides are sides, nothing to really write home about, though the green beans and potato salad are pretty good. Overall a bit on the pricey side but not a bad spot.
