Top shelf faire. And you will not leave hungry. I had the roasted pork which was perfectly tender. Waitress was charming without being a bother. We stopped in early on a Friday without reservations. Probably an actual miracle we were seated. Oh, do not pass on the bacon wrapped okra. Wow.

A classy restaurant nestled in a charming small town. The atmosphere is elegant, and the service is exceptional. While the food is on the pricier side, it’s definitely worth the experience for the quality and flavors. The only minor suggestion I have would be to dust the bathroom vent, as it could use a little attention. Thank you for a nice evening dining experience.

Probably the best cheeseburger in Lee County. All of their food is good, but the burger is extraordinary. Great flavor on their beef, which is 2 good size patties. Melted American cheese. It fires on every cylinder. The Mac n cheese is also a smash. I really enjoy their appetizers too. A lot of different options. The atmosphere is good. The people who work here are amazing. They really make the place what it is. The Local is a good spot to check out.

Small town huge flavor. Definitely a must stop on a road trip. Had the wickles pickles wings on white sauce and I can’t get enough of that flavor.

So happy we ate lunch at the Waverly Local on outage Auburn football game! Amazing quaint, little place with wonderful food and service! Mary Beth was the best server going above and beyond to provide us with a great experience! Thank you for your caring service!

Amazing. Saw this on the map thinking it was a quick and easy place to grab some quick food on the way out of Auburn. Expectations were happily exceeded by the quality of this place. While the location is a bit off the beaten path, it is definitely worth the visit. The staff is friendly, menu easily navigable, and the environment is comfortable.

The braised pork and collard green lasagna was great! We also really enjoyed the pimento cheese starter. Honestly, everything on the menu looked very tasty.

Special shout out to our server, Hayden! She was the best - quick to answer questions with honest feedback about the menu, kept our glasses full, and made sure we left with smiles on our faces.

For any friends in the area looking for something comfortably unique, check out the Waverly Local. You will not be disappointed.

Doesn't get any better. Weather was great so we sat outside. Food is amazing and so is the service!!

The restaurant was packed so it was a little loud. It was not the type of atmosphere expected for a fine dining restaurant. I had the crab cakes. The server even admitted it was a hit or miss with them so I took the chance. Great flavor, unpleasant texture. Was expecting more of a solid than a tuna salad type texture. I had ordered a salad instead of the potatoes, was charged for it and it never came. The server seemed very busy and I did not inquire for it. He seemed more concerned with his level of humor than the order being correct and my bill being correct. He was hard to get ahold of when we wanted to order another drink let alone get my bill fixed. One of my friends in my party also had to get her bill fixed because of an extra charge. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good but it is a little over hyped for the overall experience.
