We loved the Marriott Columbus so much the first time, we had to come back—and it somehow got even better. On our second-to-last night, we had the pleasure of chatting with Fiona and James in the hosted lounge, and they truly made our stay unforgettable.||||Fiona’s deep knowledge of the area, the Marriott story and her genuine care shined through. She made us feel completely at home. James brought an easygoing, joyful energy—talking about new adventures (like writing a book!), his love for this community, and most of all, his passion for family. Inspiring doesn’t even begin to cover it.||||Every staff member here is top-tier—warm, welcoming, and committed to making your stay special. And the rejuvenated riverfront area is absolutely worth exploring again and again! It’s beautiful, vibrant, and full of local charm. But it gets even better with all the great shops and restaurants on Broadway, just steps away from the hotel!||||This hotel has the perfect blend of people, place, and purpose. Can’t wait for stay number three!

Perfect location, right at the end of Broadway. Easy to walk to the river front and all the great restaurants. Rooms were very cool in the old mill section and the staff were fantastic. Great M lounge also.

I attended a conference at the Convention Center and booked this hotel for its proximity and good reviews. I booked a room with lounge access to ensure that I would have breakfast, snacks, and drinks. Because my conference had a group rate, however, I was denied access to the lounge even though all of my paper work states lounge access included. The reception staff mentioned that they get a lot of questions about this policy and I can understand why. ||The hotel is also adjacent to an active train track that comes through town in the night and there is no mention of this on their website or registration page.

My room was pretty clean, and the beds were very comfy. The room seemed to have water damage that was poorly repaired in the bathroom. Don't bother talking to people using the app -- they answer hours late and don't do what they say they will. Clean and speedy ride to the airport.

Overall decor surely has 5-star potential. Aside from a misleading reservation confirmation stating M Club Lounge Access, which was actually denied due to my booking being under a government rate, my hotel stay was comfortable. Major kudos to the front desk associate Kayla; she was exceptionally accommodating and very cheerful.||Marriott should consider submitting an IT change to their reservation system to ensure M Club Lounge Access is not included for group rate (government) guests. This false advertisement is an inconvenience as it deflates guests expectations.

I travel to Columbus for work several days out of the year for the past 3 years and always stayed at a Marriott property but never the one downtown (always at the AC hotel also located right down the street). I must say my stay was awesome, and I will return. One of those reasons is a young lady by the name of Joyce who works in the M Club morning shift. She treats everyone like they are a guest in her home. She needs to wear a crown with that infectious personality. You go, Joyce. You are the queen of the castle. It was a delight getting to meet you and making me feel like a part of your family.

Nice Looking and convenient to convention center. Pillows Suck. Sheets are scratchy. Trains come right by the hotel 3 times a night blowing the horn for God knows who. They have ear plugs in the rooms for this I learned but we didn't have them and desk couldn't find any. Walls paper thin and 2 inch gap under doors so you hear everything. God forbid you are by the elevator. You cant use luggage cart unless you pay extra. Restaurant is understaffed so wait to just order is 20 minutes. Someone with a beginners pressure washer experience did sidewalks by pool. Looks like he was spelling words. Nice Shower and TV.
