My daughter was taking the first part of the CPA exam at Columbus State University and I booked this hotel as it was one of the closest to the testing center. We were very pleased with the staff of the hotel; they were all very friendly and helpful to us. The suite was very nice for the price that we paid. Both beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, which is a big deal for me. I used the workout space on Sunday and Monday and was pleased with it. We both thought that the breakfast was excellent; in fact, it was one of the better breakfasts I have been served in a hotel since Covid. We will definitely be booking a suite with them when testing time rolls around again!

I travel the world frequently for work, and this hotel truly stands out. The staff from the cleaners to the front desk to management are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need, and there are great takeout options nearby. This will definitely be my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Columbus. Highly recommend

My stay at this hotel was awesome !!!! Me and my family came to Columbus a few weekends ago to visit family , we would be greeted every time we walked through the door with a smile! The entire staff was friendly even maintenance greeted us and was nice! You don’t find hotels like this anymore! Not only they were nice but the hotel was spotless! The linen was very clean we really enjoyed the food as well! The only thing that will make this a better hotel to stay at on my visits to Columbus would be if they were to get some type of renovation because it was really dated!! Luckily you guys have an awesome staff to accommodate that one flaw, I give this hotel a 1million out of 10 and will definitely come back again☺️❤️

Overall, it was a nice place. When I went to my room after check-in, the slide lock was holding the door open almost if someone had been in there. The wife and daughter were a little freaked out about it. I surveyed the room and seemed fine.

I had a med emergency and my wife and I were forced to stay near hospital.
This is a great place, clean, priced right...but most importantly its the people who serve there...first of all is Katerena, a manager who provided guidance, help and in-depth service with a caring and compassionate manner. Next Heather was simply a jewel, everything you would want in an employee dealing with the public. Ty'Kia made sure we were happy with our stay and bill. Just a great team. If I still owned businesses, I would hire all 3 and likely more away. We will make it our Columbus home when we are in the area.

Stayed here for my sons military graduation for at Fort Benning.
Our booking was from March 13-16th.
After our flight from DSM to ATL was delayed and then getting into our rental car we got in extremely late & finally arrived to Towns Place Suites around 2 AM Friday. We were greeted by a friendly staff member.
First impressions of the property was definitely not good as we walked to our room we noticed that the carpets in the hallway were filthy and once inside our room we discovered that our master bedroom curtains were broken and had a huge hole in the material, plus the outlets above our nightstand weren’t working properly for our CPAP equipment so I had to unplug the alarm clock in the back of the nightstand just so I could use my machine.
I ended up using the kitchen outlets to charge up my phone.
The door handle in our bathroom was broken and the door wouldn’t lock.
Furniture was filthy and we noticed some black stuff on our bedding..
Made reports to the front desk about the items listed above and almost checked out.
Next day, I spoke to Property Manager, Jennifer Adams who was super nice and I expressed my above concerns to her.
Jennifer went above and beyond and really tried to make things right for us, and even tried to accommodate us into a different room, which ended up being an epic failure..
Maintenance did however make it to our room and managed to fix our bathroom door for us and our incidentals were
waved. She gave us a reduced rate to stay there and some extra Bonvoy points for the inconvenience of everything going on which was very kind of her..
On our last night of our stay, I got up to get something out of the refrigerator and discovered a cockroach in there which was absolutely disgusting.. 🤢
Breakfast was very basis, nothing special..
I stayed at the TownePlace suites in Minneapolis St. Paul and the property was absolutely beautiful and that was one of the reason I chose to stay at this property again was because of how nice it was plus the fact it had an additional bedroom for privacy, which I felt was important for my young soldier and his girlfriend. Big difference in the properties there was absolutely no comparison..
This property has so much potential and I hope things can take a turn for the best!

Wonderful atmosphere and GREAT customer service from the manager on site, Mrs. Theresa Morgan! Will definitely stay again! Will recommend this hotel to others! Mrs. Morgan met all of our needs and some! She made our family feel like family!

The hotel was clean and the staff was great and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and I will return. The breakfast was good. I was also able to use the gym. I would recommend this hotel to my other family and friends when they don’t to visit the area.
