The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on the street side and not the interstate side. So the room was quiet. Staff was nice. Was newly renovated. Our experience was great and nothing like the other reviews we read. We would definitely stay heere again if we are passing by.

This hotel is under renovation. Nothing on the reservation stated that. No big deal except we’ve had no hot water - just barely lukewarm- and when reported to the desk we were told that no one else has reported this problem. Came back from being out all day and now there is no water. When we checked in our door was wide open, all cabinets, microwave and refrigerator were open. Front desk told us that housekeeping must have forgotten to close up. There were several rooms on the floor in the same condition. No phone connection in the room, microwave doesn’t work and fridge doesn’t cool. Just frustrated that I brought my mom to visit her granddaughter and it’s been an embarrassment to stay here. We’ve stayed here before and it’s been fine but this trip has completely turned me off to ever wanting to stay here again - everything has been a struggle and it just shouldn’t be that way.

Lobby is nice, but past that needs updating. Front desk attendant/check in hardly made eye contact. Traveling late at night with my daughter would have been more comforting to have felt welcome. Probably wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

The room itself and service were great! I stayed here while I visited family and friends for Christmas last week. This is the only reason I didn't rate 1 star.

I WOULD stay here again, only they double charged me. I paid for this stay with my CapitalOne Venture card. The charge did NOT decline like the lady on the phone was trying to convince me of. The charge is clear as day posted on my statement along with the confirmation for this very location! I don't know what their deal is, but front desk lady was of no help at all. So now I have to run a weeks-long dispute claim with my bank all while I just have a nice $300 missing out of my bank account til it's resolved! Thanks for the extra holiday travel stress!!

The only reason I'm giving it a lower rating was due to the hotel being in the middle of renovation, which caused some of the amenities to be unavailable and the loud construction going on during the day. However, the staff was very friendly and did their best to ensure my stay was enjoyable.

The room was comfortable enough. Not as nice as the HGI in Columbia SC that I stayed in the night before. No extras including complimentary water in the lobby, NO WATER IN THE GYM, no makeup remover, shower cap in bathroom. The gym not nearly as nice as the HGI at the USC campus.

We stayed at the Hilton garden Inn in Auburn because it's a neighboring town to skaneateles and wanted to return to the festival. We like checking out the nearby towns from Skaneatlus and included those into our itinerary. The Hilton Garden Inn did not disappoint us. The Hilton garden Inn offers good prices including the Hilton rewards and gave us a senior citizen discount. You do not have to pay for your stay until visit is completed. We reserved a room with double queen beds. The room was located on the first floor across from the pool. At time of arrival I had mentioned to the front desk I had mobility issues and this is the room she designated to us. I'd like to thank the front desk. Location was perfect since it was easy access with in walking distance to the parking lot( handicap spaces were located in front of the building) lobby front desk restaurant pool were all with in steps from our room making it easy for handicap people. Our room was spacious clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the room service as well. Since covid if your staying in a motel I've noticed room service is not what it used to be in regarding beds will not be changed if staying more then one night. Beds were changed the following day at the Hilton. The Garden Inn in Auburn hosts many events during the holidays and also hosts weddings. The location of our room was quiet. We only had breakfast through the restaurant at the Hilton. Breakfast is not included with the stay but there is many choices to choose from and also a breakfast buffet is included. We opted to bring breakfast back into the room. Both mornings I opted for the Greek yogurt fruit bowl which was creamy fresh and delicious. Coffee both with in the room as well as in the lobby was suburb. The lobby boasted a fireplace had a flat screen TV for viewing and comfortable seating. Front desk was knowledgeable courteous and friendly. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn of Auburn for a most delightful stay
