Arrived Thursday night at 100am, took 4 times of me trying to get in my room with 4 different keys, finally staff let me. ( eyes rolling).
Overall stay was good. Room in simplistic, almost like. European youth hostel; comfortable bed, small desk- with a huge tv. lol
Staff was very helpful and friendly
Very clean, safe and neat. Very quite
Bed was reallllllly comfortable..
I would do it again!!

First impressions are important and as soon as you walk through the doors we were greeted by the front desk with smiles and greetings. The hotel and our room were impeccable.
Every employee we came in contact with had a smile on their face and greeted us.
One person that stood out was Anthony!! What a gem!! Just a pure gentleman in every sense of the way.
The only reason we gave a rating of 4 is because the rooms are rather small. This has nothing to do with the management or staff.

I'm all for modernizing, but a few things that left me frustrated: no drawers to put anything, no actual desk space (the little 6" deep nook little thing does not qualify as a desk area in the slightest) so all my things were just strewn across what little flat surface there was and it felt very disorganized and cluttered. What happened to having normal bed linens too The weird bed skirt type coverlet was weird and didn't stay put. The materials were also not comfortable, they felt icky like some weird fake satin type material which just insulated my body temperature (not what you want if you get hot easily, which I do). The AC was also really annoying, I'd set it for 68°, it'd cool to 64° then switch to heat and get all the way to 72° then switch back. I couldn't sleep from the temperature whiplash. The shower was the last straw: how are you going to have an adjustable shower head but not allow guests to change it?! I have thick hair, I always switch to the massage setting because it's the fastest way to get all the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. Showering took me almost an hour because I was forced to use the rain trickling setting. Overall, modernizing is great, but these Tru hotels modernize in the cheapest ways. An Ikea display room would've been more comfortable. Oh and the breakfast area had sugar ants everywhere. That was..... An added bonus.

I can not say enough about my pleasure.
Top tier, First class service, friendliness, attentiveness, just some good Ole southern hospitality from Alana and Robin. I have not had this great of a stay in years and I only stay at Hiltons. All Hiltons need to bottle up what these ladies have and spread it across the brand. My room was spotless, as well as the entire hotel! I wore white socks and the next day they were still white on the bottom. Lovely property, quiet, and a pristine walking trail from the hotel to the state park. Great coffee, decent breakfast, and did I mention how clean everything was!!!!! Even has I sat in the lobby I heard countless guests checking out and expressing what an awesome stay they had. If you come to Auburn, you have to stay at Tru.

Rooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Spacious workout area and nice walking trail outside. Staff was very nice! Will stay here again when we’re back in the area.

The room was a bit smaller than the last Tru by Hilton we stayed in, but it was clean and well kept. The mattress was comfortable and quiet. All in all no complaints just an observation on the space in the room.
