A very special place surrounded by green mountain views and a smooth flowing creek. Lots of places to sit and relax. Almost surreal. Like a home away from home. Delicious smores are provided that you can cook by the outside fire. The rooms are sweetly decorated. Super close to town and a nice drive away from the lighthouse. The restaurant nextdoor has a happy hour from 4-6pm.

Best place for a solo retreat. Quiet and comfortable grounds, surrounded by nature, and close to great hiking spots. Though the chairs in the room were not very comfortable, the bed definitely was! Firm mattress, luxurious & sweet-smelling bedding, fluffy pillows. The Best!

Great property on the doorstep of Point Reyes. We bicycled there (they have one small bike locker, other bike in room) and stayed only one night, but will definitely come back for a three day weekend. Lovely backyard garden with fireplace and chairs and s'mores! And their Olema White wine is pretty good.They have an indoor parlor area with fireplace that is also very nice.

Wonderful property and hotel! Our room was charming and comfortable and clean. We loved the jacuzzi tub and the wine and snacks in the room. The property itself is beautiful and surrounded by great hiking. We dined in the restaurant and enjoyed it, but there are also other great options 10 minutes away

The lodge, the grounds, and the location are wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful. Close proximity to Point Reyes Station with some great eateries and coffee/pastry shops and the best cheeses on the planet, is a big plus. Not to mention being right next door to one of the nation's great national seashores! The hotel grounds, sloping down to Olema Creek are something rare, with many nice sitting areas/fire pits.

Perfect location to stop at the end of our wine country trip, just north of San Francisco airport. The tavern next door has excellent food, drinks, and service. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the creek in the back and view of the mountains.

Everything was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cottage! We enjoyed the firepit. The bed was so comfortable! The beauty and privacy was fantastic! We also really enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine! Margaret was so friendly and helpful! Great location to explore Point Reyes! Wonderful stay! We’ll definitely be back!

Olema House is a charming cosy hotel in a gorgeous part of West Marin close to Point Reyes Station. The hotel staff were super friendly and our kids loved playing in the big backyard. The room was spacious enough for a family with 2 young kids and we loved the dinner at Due West Restaurant.
