Would have rated this higher, but the manager chewing out the front desk receptionist as I was trying to check out is an instant 2 star drop. Not cool, dude. Not cool.
Read on for all the rest.
The front lobby is very impressive and first impressions had me think I had found a diamond in the rough, but it turned out to be more rough than diamond.
"Garden view" means courtyard with grass as opposed to parking lot. It's a good size space and if you have kids who like to run around or go swim, then it's definitely worth the option.
The rooms themselves were nice, but the lighting was terrible. Harsh white lights made me feel like I was in a college dorm.
Plenty of toiletry related provision available (Shampoo, conditioner, body wash). The door to the bathroom, however, is noticably narrow and the bathroom size is on the smaller size. Walk in shower only, but that was a good size.
Biggest deal breaker for some might be the front window. The slat blinds did not block out the outside light, so the room never got fully dark. And the slats never closed 100%, which might make some self conscious during a romantic encounter. Either way, some black out drapes are sorely needed.
Breakfast was pretty basic- cereal, bread, fruit, juice and coffee. No frills there. I also checked out the pool. Not warm, but the freezing. The hot tub, however, was cold and underfilled. I did notice a maintenance person working on it later, so either this was a glitch or perhaps they only operate it on weekends.
As for my personal experience, within 10 minutes of arriving and unpacking, the room lost partial power. This required repacking and moving. The second room put me in a room with a crocked tv, which felt a little like a downgrade.
Would I go back? Certainly the price was a positive factor and the place was very quiet despite being freeway close, but this would likely be a back up option and not my first choice in the future.

This hotel used to be a gem! We loved the rooms and the amenities until not. 3 years ago we stayed and the room was so horrible dirty, stains and things broken that they refunded our stay in full. We decided to give it another try. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. The room we’re were initially in was in a crappy location ( although we were assured this was a great a recently renovated room) and the blinds were broken so you couldn’t adjust. Next room was cleaner ( less stains in shower) but was equally disappointing. The staff was not capable for addressing problems. And it’s obvious that they treat guests who booked through a third party like crap. However we tried to book directly with the hotel and their price was significantly higher. It is a shame because previous stays were great. But that was a while ago. Stay somewhere else

This was my first time staying here and I had a good experience over my three nights. The hotel is somewhat old, but the guest room I had was updated. The hotel is close to the freeway, but I chose a room furthest away. The room was nice and quite, although I had a next door neigbor with with his guests that was a little loud one night. The website advertised a "full breakfast" each morning, but the food consisted only of bagels, toast, dry cereal and apples. Having said all this, the hotel was a good value for the money and I plan to stay there again.

We booked a king room months ahead of our stay through Booking.com. We were given a double queen at check in, which costs less than the room we booked. The hotel told us that booking.com recorded the room as a double queen so we called them. Booking.com confirmed that they booked us in the king room and attempted to call the property to resolve the issue. I was told by booking.com that the hotel hung up on them as soon as they heard the issue. The hotel told us that all of the kings were booked, but we never saw more than 20 cars in the entire parking lot. The room itself was just okay. The bed was not comfortable, the pillows are very cheap. We could hear everything happening in the room next to us, the hot tub was out of service, the bathroom windows facing the parking lot could not be locked, the shower head was falling out of the wall, the toilet ran all night. Other guests also seemed upset and the hotel staff hung up on someone else in front of us. At checkout we were refused any form of receipt, folio, or record of our stay. Something very questionable is going on with this hotel and their staff and I cannot recommend that anyone stay at this property.

Positive: Swing in backyard to rock my baby. Friendly staff. Negative: Giant spider upon entering the room. Curtains and frame needed to be straightened. Paint tape was never removed. Bathroom needed better cleaning. Otherwise lovely hotel.

Positive: Location Negative: They advertise a hot tub and it?s been unusable every time I have stayed there for over a year. TV was not working, switched rooms and the new room the A/C heater was broken. Property has potential but is a bit run down. Price was good though

Would have gave the rooms all 5 stars 🫤, but my room was missing quite a few amenities that was listed in the Web site to have available. The large flat screen TV didn't work either. When i called the front desk for help with it, the person working only answered with it " i don't know how to fix that kind of stuff"
.... Then said goodnight and hung up. Other than that. I really did like the room decor and the courtyard area was awesome
Highly recommend the hammock swings or fire pit hang out areas. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub thats open, but i didn't visit them . I will try this place again though. The price was nice and i feel like they are normally better than the experience i had . They deserve a second chance... When that happens i will update this review....😁

This used to be a wonderful hotel, but has definitely gone down hill. Not one big thing, but many little ones. We had made reservations, it was a very chilly evening and the heater in the room was not turned on. The mirror in the bathroom is ridiculously high, the toilet seat was loose (to a scary extent), there was mold in the shower. There was no hair dryer. We had requested extra blankets (it was a cold night) were not in the room. As for the breakfast, it was just sad. I don't see us staying there again.
