Fantastic supportive staff and super nice lodging. The bunk house beds, linens, and towels were all top quality and made for a very comfortable stay. The lounge and common areas are very cozy with lots of room for folks to hang out. Great place to stay while exploring the park.

As a group of 13 people staying at Limantour Lodge for 3 days, we had a fantastic stay. The staff was very helpful during the reservation process and providing us with all instructions for check in and for our stay. We stayed in the bunkhouse and meadow house queen rooms - both clean and comfortable. The layout of the Bunkhouse works well. It requires some frugality and adaptability to bunk beds. However, my fellows commented that the materasses were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked delicious meals together. The outdoor and communal spaces are beautiful. The locations is excellent. I can only recommend this lodge and hope to be back in future.

For the chance to walk out your door and stroll right onto the trails into the woods, or trek out for a full day’s hike in Point Reyes National Seashore, you can’t beat the Lodge. Natural beauty and wildlife are abundant: You are in the coastal forest … while sitting out on the deck under the stars, we listened to a young Great Horned Owl stretch its lungs… from trails, spotted 2 bobcats, one in the evening, one in the morning … and so much more. I stayed at the hostel many times in the past, and it’s hard not to miss it, like an old friend … but the Lodge is wonderful, and they have certainly brightened, cleaned and modernized the common spaces while keeping it all woodsy and welcoming. Be aware that the semi-private rooms are quite small by typical hotel standards … but these rooms cost 1/2 to 1/3 of other rooms in the area … this likely isn’t a place you’ll want to hang out in your room. If someone does want to be inside, there are large, welcoming and comfortable common spaces. Highly recommended. Photos are from previous visit but it’s the same gorgeous Seashore.

This is a gem of a place. Extremely reasonable rates for a clean simple room. The shared kitchen has everything you need and is spacious and nice. We highly recommend cooking there rather than trying to navigate the roads after dark. There are so many animals that it is treacherous driving in the dark. Port Reyes is magnificent and the lodge gives you access to all its beauty!

Punto Reyes is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled places in the U.S. that we have ever visited. And Limantour Lodge is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the National Seashore. The Lodge was quaint and the communal kitchen, where we could cook our own food, was well stocked with utensils, plates and plenty of herbal teas, and a place to make new friends who treasure the outdoor lifestyle and healthy living. There were plenty of gorgeous trails within walking distance of the Lodge. The private rooms were clean and well built, the bed extremely comfortable. The shared bathroom was very clean. Though it was a no-frills experience, it was much better than saying at a cookie cutter hotel with bad food.

A lovely and affordable getaway. The main kitchen is well stocked and they have snacks and drinks to buy. I stayed in the dorm which was clean and pretty roomy the dorm building is separate from the kitchen area. The lodge is right next to hiking which is super convenient! Would definitely come back!

The best lodging location in Point Reyes . Totally isolated in nature and very near the beautiful Limantour Beach . Stayed at the family room Laguna House with 2 friends. Room was smaller than in the photos but it was fine . All shared spaces were very clean . Would definitely come back

Absolutely gorgeous grounds! The hostel is impeccable and spacious! You don't need to bring anything! Pillows, comforters, towels and sheets available - all great quality - great kitchen available and library 📚! Hikes and more hikes! Great service. Do not hesitate to come here. Great prices also.
