Noes Nest is an exceptional place to stay. You receive a warm welcome from Sheila, the owner. At first, you wonder where you've landed. The impressions are overwhelming, and you don't know where to look first. But when Sheila shows us her house and her collected treasures and antiques, tells us a story about everything, and lets us share in her life, you understand the intangible value of this home, which is lovingly offered to us. A wonderful little garden completes this fantastic accommodation. The highlight is the breakfast, which is very much reminiscent of German standards. A wonderful experience that we wouldn't want to miss and one that we will always remember. Thank you, dear Sheila and your team.

I had a great three-night stay at Noe's Nest while I was in town for a family event. The entire home is gorgeous - the decorations and history are stunning and so much fun! The back garden and glass house are stunning. My daughter and son-in-law, who live nearby, had noticed the seasonal lighted window decorations (I was there for the Valentines and St. Patrick's Day transition) for years and always wondered about them, so they were delighted to learn that it is a B&B and that I was staying there. Sheila and Noe were so welcoming and warm, and I loved meeting all of the other guests at breakfast ...everyone was extremely friendly. I loved the breakfast, BTW, too. My room (The Masquerade Room) was extremely comfortable. It is conveniently located to so many sites, although for me, the proximity to my daughter rand son-in-law's place was paramount. I will definitely stay there again when I return to SF!

I visited 4/18-4/20 and had the ABSOLUTE BEST experience there. They had fresh flowers in the kitchen daily and the entire house smelled so lovely. The house is an antique and that is part of its charm. There are so many interesting things to look at, if I stayed for a month, I’m sure I would still be finding new things I hadn’t noticed before. I stayed in the Venitian and it was so lovely. The bathroom is small but clean and that’s to be expected of a house that was built in that time. They had a heated seat with a bidet which is an added touch of luxury. I’m 5’5 and about 200lbs so if you’re bigger around than me, don’t get this room because you won’t fit in the shower. The bed is GINORMOUS!!! I’m not sure if it’s a king or a California king but. It’s huge. The breakfast makes you feel like you’re in Paris it is so wonderfully prepared and well presented. The host was as welcoming and friendly as the amazing breakfast that he prepared and the French toast was the best I’ve had IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Please email me the recipe!!! I will never forget my wonderful stay here and if I ever find myself in San Francisco again, I would stay again. The back garden is TO DIE FOR!!! I have no words do describe how much I enjoyed it. So very lovely and well maintained. Thank you for everything. 💕💝💕

This was my second time staying at Noes Nest. The first time was only my husband and myself. The most recent time, March 22 2025, it was my husband, 4 year old daughter and myself. It’s located in such a beautiful area. With nearby coffee shops/stores. It’s a great morning walk. They are super friendly, I love breakfast time, it gives the guests a chance to meet one another and chit chat for a few before the day begins. The back garden is absolutely amazing and peaceful. We will definitely be back.

I had the pleasure of staying at Noe's for couple of days/nights and it was an incredible experience. The house is filled with so much history, the rooms are a piece of art and the breakfast was amazing (the best french toast I had ever had). Everything is done with love, you aren't just a guest but part of the family while staying there, making it feel like home. Thank you Sheila and Noe for this little gem you have created. I absolutely LOVED my time at Noe's Nest! I didn't have a car and didn't need one. Amazing shopping and services all within walking distance! I was travelling alone and it was so nice to have a delicious breakfast with Sheila and the other guests. I felt really safe and comfortable. It was so fun to check out all the artwork and antiques, wish I had more time to hang out in the back garden and the wine temple. Next time! This is the only place I want to stay in SF now! Sure , chain hotels downtown are cheaper but Noe's Nest is a special, uniquely San Franciscan experience and I can't wait for more!

What a fun place to stay in the heart of Noe Valley! Proprietor Sheila is a kick with so many stories to tell about her BnB, the museum-like atmosphere inside, and her life. From the time we walked in the door we felt like a very special guest in a whimsical home.||Noe gave us a tour of the Inn before bringing us to our room. We stayed in the very comfortable View Room with an amazing view of the Noe Valley neighborhood and Bernal Heights. The breakfast was delicious with Sheila and Noe cooking up fritattas, french toast, pancakes, fruit with smoked salmon, bread, and cheese. ||Noe's Nest exudes the SF vibe -- and after all, when traveling to SF isn't that what you really want?

Noe’s Nest Bed & Breakfast is a delightful home away from home. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Frittata, fresh fruit, cheese, charcuterie, oatmeal, salmon and fresh brewed coffee. The guests are from all over, many repeat customers. Sheila Ash, the proprietor, is warm and welcoming with a fascinating history as a teacher in Harlem, actress in underground theater, and fashion designer. She is connected. We highly recommend Noe’s Nest Bed & Breakfast.
