Great food here and biscuits that could win awards! I recommend the corn cilantro pancakes! Oh, and their lattes and mochas are pint sized!

Got one of their gourmet deli sandwiches. The ingredients were tasty, but the way it was put together allowed the bread to immediately get soaked through, so the sandwich fell apart a few minutes after they'd made it. Sloppy and messy -- not the best thing for a to-go item.

Larry's sandwiches are our go-to spot for lunch--anytime, everyday of the week. Consistently good, and he and Javier know us just by the sounds of our voices. So lucky to have him right across the street from our dental office! Thank you from Dr. Mendoza's office (aka Kensington Dental Care).

This place is the best and not just for the delicious sandwiches, bbq chicken and spare ribs! Incredible brined turkey for holidays, great meat, fish etc. and the best of service from Xavier, Larry and their helpers! PS I am from Italy and on a whim I bought the pesto which I always make myself. It was the best and almost made me think I shouldn't keep making my own!!!

Kensington is a little town in the sky north of of Berkeley where the air is fresh the views are spectacular and you can get a delicious sandwich at Young's Market to satisfy that pang that good air always seems to encourage. A great place to see the Bay Area at it's most dramatic advantage.

Larry and Javier (and now Conlan too) have changed my life by bringing their high quality meats and prepared foods into my neighborhood. My kids killed my love of cooking, but I still must cook, kinda-sorta ... Kensington Fine Foods is that place you stop by daily, European-style, for your meal ingredients or your meal (soups, stews, sandwiches). So convenient and yummy. Huge stress reducer having this resource so close to home.

Terrific ribs, soups, roasted chicken and sandwiches. And the best fried chicken I've ever had (on Thursdays). Larry and Javier are unfailingly friendly and helpful.
