I have been staying here for over 10 years and it continues to be a highlight of my regular visits to Berkeley. Clean, welcoming, and very spacious with everything one needs for a long weekend or extended stay including a deck for sitting and sunning or star gazing at night. And the innkeeper, Anne, is gracious and engaging and is the perfect hostess. This is a jewel in the heart of Berkeley.

I stayed with Anne a few times last year while visiting my son who's studying at Cal. The upstairs is clean, comfortably furnished and the innkeeper is delightful. The house is well located on a charming street.

There is always ivy growing up their back fence and messing with the school. Also, the bathrooms smelled like rats. Do not stay here!
