The very best of dining here in La Grande. There is no better chef on the west coast. We enjoy his “white hat” events, particularly the breakfasts. The pace is slow and there is plenty of time for conversations.

Merlyn catered my and my wife's wedding. He cooked pizzas of an elegant and delicious variety upon our request. He was very sensitive to our dietary and aesthetic needs. We were very pleased with the quality of food and the level of service that was provided. We made the request about a week before the event, with that short notice was able to provide everything we asked for.

The food was delicious and there was a variety of options for folks who had dietary restrictions, all foods were labeled. We asked him to also do centerpieces and worked with our budget, they matched the vision that I had. The quality and service that we received was worth the price.

Merlyn's catering service and food is amazing!! Everyone in town knows his food is the best!! The majority of our guests where from out of town and they could not stop raving about how great the food and service was. We had multiple meetings before the event and he really went above and beyond anything we could have imagined.

Had Merlyn's Catering service cater a wedding I was at, excellent food and superb service. The portions were large and no one was shorted at all.
