We had the opportunity to stay one night at Crescent Lake resort. Even though it was a short stay, I felt compelled to write a review because of the amazing customer service we received. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and happy to answer any question we might have. We had dinner at the restaurant and again, the service was amazing and the food was top-notch. We are hoping to get a chance to stay for more than just one night in the future.

What a wonderful place to spend a day or a week. Convenient access to the lake, cute cabins, and beautiful views. We came before season, with snow still on the ground. The water was clear, and a gorgeous light green color. The sand was so soft! It made us feel like we were on a tropical beach!

We were staying nearby and stopped here for dinner. Friendly, welcoming staff. Great view of the lake. Simple but delicious food: hot, crispy fries, perfect chicken strips, salad loaded with fresh veggies, and a couple of great beers on tap. The kids loved it, too. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful lake. Great beach for kids. We wished the menus had a little more at the restaurant. All they had was fried food. Drinks were good and service was great. They had boats, paddle boards and other stuff to rent on the lake. The price for the jet skis seemed pretty steep $350/4hrs and they were in the shop. Cabins were okay. The showers were pretty short and I'm not a tall person. They also don't have AC in the cabins. We were there in July and it was extremely hot. I wasn't able to sleep until close to 11-12 because of how hot they got. Even just a window AC would have been helpful. Overall it was a good resort. If changes were made to the following then I think it would elevate the experience.

The staff is super nice, unfortunately, there's just not enough of them to make the place run smooth. The cabins are a hodgepodge of old historic buildings and newer nicer cabins, not that the historic ones are bad, they're just older. And in fact kind of cool. But the lake and the views and the clear water and the white and black sand made this one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Definitely a lovely place to hang out and de-stress!

This review is not of the resort, but rather about service. Crescent Lake has been a family tradition for four generations. It was tragic that it closed this summer due to the nearby forest fires. It has now been a month and a half since I was notified about the closure and the cancellation of our reservation. Crescent Lake Resort/Hoodoo has still not sent the refund.

Rented a boat to enjoy a day off from work yesterday. It was so fun and relaxing. Good value and the young man who helped us was so polite and professional in dealing with three or four different parties waiting for service. He did a great job.! we tipped him as we were leaving and when I inquired he says they rarely get tips… I would encourage anyone who can afford to take a day off and relax to remember to thank the people who have made our day enjoyable. Was thinking, perhaps the establishment could put up a cute sign or something? I will go again 👍

First of all, the setting, with it's moss covered old growth pine trees and stunning lake was just perfect. We didn't stay overnight but went there for dinner. Our server, Robert went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was also amazing. I had the grass fed beef burger with bacon and cheddar. Thank you for an amazing experience!
