Terrible, no heater signs everywhere telling you what not to do. Nothing telling you how to work the heater if it's even possible the knows were removed. The room was clean but old and ratty. Signs literally on every empty space, telling you some rule or what not to do. Really, you're better off with a tent and a sleeping bag.smelled horrible like dirty stagnet water.

Found this place during a motorcycle trip from Sacramento to Seattle. My regular hotel was booked and I found this place not knowing what to expect. I had been riding all day, hadn't eaten since 4 a.m. and pulled into the resort at 8 p.m. in the dark. The management was nice enough to rent me one of their cozy motel rooms so I could get a good night sleep and although their restaurant was closing at 8 p.m. the kept it open so that I could get a hot meal in my hungry belly. The best bacon cheese burger i had ever eaten! Needless to say, I got a good night sleep and shower then was off to finish my road trip in the morning. I owe these guys big time and am so thankful for very kind people like these!

The staff here are uniquely wonderful and they’re all personable and courteous. Our stay was comfortable and our room was neat and clean when we checked in (thanks Krystal!).

We ate at the restaurant onsite and the food was tasteful with Angela being a wonderful waitress! We did a 2-hr kayak during our stay and Jonathan was so nice in helping us w/ that.

Danielle is a hoot and a holler and continued to make us laugh w/ her jokes throughout our stay! We did some birding and it’s cool to just spectate the herons and various birds around the area (like Kingfishers!). Overall our expectations and needs were met by the amenities provided!

Thank you guys for our stay while we were visiting Crater Lake NP 🙂

I was there in 2020 and still remember how dirty the room was and it had spiders and mouse droppings. They knew I was coming, "got the room ready" and left the key inside room. I was so excited for this stay and it was very disappointing.

We had no way of making it there because of a snow storm and the snow just got worse and worse. We could not arrive and we were only 15 miles away and our car spun out. No other cars were able to drive and many were stuck, we had to turn around and they gave us no refund telling us to read the fine print of the reservation. Do not come here, they are scam artists and I bet their resort is too

The room was fine. When we arrived after a long day a Crater Lake we were ready for a shower and bed. |We were informed that the “hotel rooms” didn’t have hot water because the water heater broke and that we’d have to shower in the campground showers. Inconvenient for sure but not the end of the world. They did give us quarters to shower with. |However the men’s shower was so nasty covered in bugs and cobwebs with bugs that I spent several minutes just splashing them down an off he walls of the shower so I could use it. ||Hard to get a clean feeling in a shower covered in bugs. Now mind you this is the common use camp shower not the hotel room shower which seemed fine in room (just no hot water).||My wife reported she did NOT have the same experience in the women’s camp shower. ||I contacted to property and gave them ample time to respond to me about a partial refund. They have not contacted me or offered anything besides 8 bucks in quarters.||There are other accommodations in the area. It may not feel/look like that when searching from afar but 140 store has a nice looking motel and lake of the woods isn’t that far away and had options. |So don’t feel like this place is the only place around because it ain’t. ||Would I stay again? Probably not. But it’s mostly because they won’t do the right thing and offer a partial refund. Not because that e accommodations were bad. But not having hot water in the bathroom for showers is kind of a deal breaker for us.

The chalet was a bit more rustic than the picture and words suggested. Very relaxed atmosphere. Nice cat came to say hello. Would be more appropriate to called this a cabin though the set table was a nice touch. Looks out over the lake.
