Spectacular & beautiful location "AWAY" from it all!! The lake with the mountain backdrop is breathtaking. Lemola lake is a huge deep lake, full of fish, thanks to the Oregon Fish and wildlife department! The KOA has various motorized boats to rent, plus other paddle boats for hire to get out on the water to fish and play in! Plan to bring in all food, gear, etc.. that you need as the nearest full-service grocery store is 80+ miles away on curvey roads. The KOA camp store does have basic amenities at reasonable prices just in case you find yourself needing something. ||The campsite and grounds are well maintained. We had a 30ft trailer and had no issues with the pull through space and ease of getting into our spot; the site hosts can help guide you into the space if you need assistance. Contrary to the comments about the campsites being too close to one another, we found this campground to be quite spacious with sites well separated; we have stayed in many lovely state campgrounds and other private parks where you are literally lined up in rows with about 15 feet apart from the other trailers/rigs. At Lemola Lake, most of the RV campsites have very nice larger areas with fire pits to sit out around with friends and family, plus they each have a picnic table. ||Since you are in the Cascades, you will find Mosquitoes and biting flies depending upon the time of day and temperatures outside....so bring repellant and clothing to keep the bugs at bay! There are lovely waterfall hikes within 30-minutes or less from the campground and the North Entrance to Crater Lake is 18 miles away. We hiked to 6 different waterfalls and stopped by one along the way on the East Rim drive; varying degrees of difficulty, with the hardest being a 3.4 round trip hike with an elevation drop of about 400 feet all the way down to see the spectacular base of Lemola waterfall! We cannot wait to return to explore the many hiking trails in the area and try our luck to catch a Trophy Brown Trout!

Just had the most amazing 4 days at Lemolo Lake Resort! We were in RV Space #1 with our 21 ft camper. Absolutely loved the playground and dog park, so convienant! The lake is right there with sandy toddler friendly access points. Also has a boat dock with rentals, which was fun! We took a pedal boat out and it was a blast. The bathrooms were EXCEPTIONALLY clean, the grounds are extremely well cared for which was nice. They also offered daily activities for the little ones like ice cream socials and craft classes. The owners of this place, Jim and Anita, are so kind and welcoming. Our daughter loved walking to the on site store just to say hi to them. Already wondering when we can make it back. Thank you for a wonderful family getaway!

We're first time campers with Jim and Anita at Lemolo KOA. The campground is wonderful with spacious and beautiful RV spots and tents sites alike.|Lemolo lake has everything to offer with boating, fishing, picnicking and swimming for all ages.|The campground itself is clean, quiet and reminds us native Oregonians of what camping used to be like at the older CCA and WPA built sites of the 1930's and '40s.|We will be regular campers in the future and have dates reserved already!|Come this year! The fires in the area have not dampened the beauty and special place that Lemolo continues to be

We stayed at Lemolo Lake KOA last week in an A-frame cabin and it was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room with 3 queen beds and we had a nice bathroom. These are basic cabins but we had originally planned to camp in a tent so it was almost like 'glamping' to have a cabin with hot water showers, heat and a kitchenette. We also made a campfire and had smores. We could see the lake from our front window and it seemed very private. (the best of both worlds). The kids rented kayaks and enjoyed exploring the lake. There were mosquitoes but we had spray repellent and bought some coiled repellent from the store and that worked great. You definitely need to buy your food before you get there...but the store is great for minor items. Crater Lake is a short drive away which is very convenient. i especially enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings and would definitely go again and stay longer.

Shower details were lacking. 4 tokens for an 8 minute shower. I know we're saving water, but it takes a good 2 minutes just to drop the coins in and get ready to shower. The woods were beautiful. No smoke while the fire was blazing in another area. The lake is gorgeous. Didn't let us share our spot with our friends.

This campground is spectacular and far enough away from the crowds that you really feel like you are getting away from everything. This is the only campground/resort on Lake Lemolo so the lake is not overcrowded or noisy. The lake is pristine and the fishing is excellent for rainbow trout and brown trout. A short hike in any direction puts you completely in the wilderness. The facilities here are spotless and the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. The small store is well stocked with various items from food to souvenirs. This campground is very family-friendly and was very quiet at night. Rented one of their boats to take out on the lake and it worked well and was reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!

A campground with full hookups, clean bathrooms & showers & access to a very nice lake. Off the beaten path -you're camping in the pines of South Central Oregon. Yes, it's dry & dusty, but it's summer & they're in a drought. We were in site 28, which is by the bathroom. Convenient for us, since we have no shower in our trailer. Laundry has 2 washers & 2 dryers, both worked while we were there.||There's cabins for rent as well.||The tent sites by the lake looked outstanding! If I was tent camping I'd totally want one. There's also some tent sites at the main campground facing the woods.||This is an old fashioned campground. There's no jumping pillows. Swimming is done in the lake. The kids camping next to us entertained themselves.|||| There's a boat ramp, fishing & a very small camp store. When they say you're "away from it all", that means stock up on supplies BEFORE you get to your campsite. There's restaurants at Crater Lake & I think Diamond Lake. |||| The worst thing I can say about this campground is that I hated the tokens. The girl who registered me told me the reason & I understand it. The tokens for the showers are free to registered campers & given out every day for the asking. This campground sits alongside a Forest Service campground within easy walking distance. No showers or laundry there. Maybe a business opportunity for the KOA? $5 for a shower for the unregistered & stinky?|| I wish there was a way though to insert the tokens INSIDE your shower so you don't have to trot back to your shower wrapped in a towel! |||| My husband & I liked this campground very much. I would recommend it if visiting Crater Lake & the surrounding National Forests.

I would have loved to have given a raving review of this KOA. The manager seemed very nice from the beginning. Signs about Jesus and seemed very kind. We even complimented him on his demeanor. The bad review is not about the facility, but the management. Because of the nearby fires and what we found regarding the route we were taking to the Oregon coast, we needed to depart early. We did all the research we could and this was the best alternative for us. We asked for at least a partial refund for having to leave for one of the booked nights but instead he said “no”. We would have been happy with a $5.00 refund in good gesture. Sometimes a good gesture goes a ling way when you go out of the way for your customers. So, a warning that if you pay…you stay.
