I was craving some real Al Pastor tacos (only place in town who does them the authentic way, or did.) and was also was interested in trying their Baja style rockfish taco.

All three tacos I ordered came out cold and soggy. Bland protein flavors with very little spice or seasoning. Also smaller portions than last time! Too many raw onions destroyed any flavor that may have been there underneath all the toppings . The Al Pastor was actually very sweet if anything, maybe the pineapple? However it wasn’t at all balanced and was off putting . Really disappointed in this lunch experience especially since I drove across town in traffic to come back for another try.

Also worth mentioning that their menu prices on Google were lower than the prices in person. Bait and switch kinda joint! So many better places to get Mexican in town! No wonder these business owners are shutting down Nome, this place will be next. Cutting corners and expecting customers not to notice never works well as business model…

Food is inconsistent I've eaten here 3 times I 1 week. Received two completely different quesadilla the cheese tastes gamey and so does barbacoa. Wt? Couldn't even eat 25 dollars worth of food. Guacamole is from a packet. Ok you cheap I get it. So I won't try it any more. I ordered Oaxacan and cotija quesadillas. That ain't it and it tastes so weird. Did they use cheese dip?

Recently diagnosed celiac came in to have a margarita and chips and salsa. Their chips are fried any separate fryer along with their vegan sweet potatoes and they offer for other vegan options. Great atmosphere and super nice staff. I felt the staff was well informed when I had questions.

Mexican food 🥘 is all about flavor and Hablo Tacos has it, not bad at all. Loved that Albóndigas Soup 🍲, the homemade Guacamole 🥑 is nice. Those salsas are nice and flavorful, not enough peppers 🌶️ though 😇!

We have ate here for a few years and have always enjoyed the food. The last 10 times the food has been going down hill and the prices up. The shrimp on the tacos use to come with a full pieces of shrimp, now the shrimp is cut up into small pieces and it's definitely noticeable. Now you pay more for less. The food just isn't as good as it use to be! Very disappointing. We loved going here. We tried again hoping things might be better a few weeks ago and decided we won't be going back. Sad!

My friends ordered take out for dinner and everything was terrible. My Al Pastor tacos had large chunks of black, charred meat that looked burnt and they were rock hard. Very old meat. The kitchen ran out of rice and beans. What a joke. Then I try the guacamole with their chips and it is warm and immediately tastes rancid. My wife got some kind of veggie bowl. It had a bit of rice on one side and some green chiles and a couple mushrooms, then they just slap a bunch of lettuce straight from a bag on the side of the rice with nothing else. This was the best thing they had. I can tell from this one experience that their cooks and kitchen are not operating clean. Eat here if you like food poisoning.

Wow! Great tacos, truly delightful. Great happy hour items. Amazing homemade salsas (read the labels! There are some fiery ones) in a variety of flavors and heats. Thrilled to have found this place and I will be back for sure. Nice staff, clean. Tres casual. Worth a visit for sure!

Update 10/2023. Still new and awesome. The enclosed outdoor area is great and just warm enough during cold times to wear a light jacket.

Very cool spot that is family friendly with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Tacos have fun flair and are fresh made. Nice selection of margaritas and authentic mixed drinks. Mexican beers. Food was great and perhaps a new favorite. Service was fast and friendly. Plan to wait in line for food, but it goes fast. Centrally located with other restaurants and treats.
