We stayed here as a group for a ski race at Mount Bachelor and the breakfast is ready at 6 AM which was great because we had to be at the ski hill very early.
There is a bike storage room where we were able to wax and sharpen our skis before the race - itās amazing that more hotels donāt have a room like this in a ski town.
If you have to go to bed early like we did do not get a room near the elevator as we will hear it clunking and banging. The design of the front desk and front door is ridiculous because as you stand at the front desk, the door keeps opening and closing because you are in front of it.
There are only three luggage carts for the entire four story hotel.
People who stay for skiing here need to hang their clothes up at the end of the day. Thereās a long wall across from the bathroom as you enter the rooms. This would be a great place for about a dozen hooks for ski clothes, but instead there is a single picture hanging on the wall, which is a complete waste of space.
I had to unplug the microwave and the fridge because they were noisy. You have to move the cabinet out of the way to do this.
There are no nightlights in the rooms so itās a pain to get up in the middle of the night and use the bathroom. You cannot leave the bathroom light on because it shuts off automatically. They put 5000K LED bulbs in the lamps beside the bedroom, which is horrifying. They are also super bright and thereās no way to dim them. Good luck reading before bed and then falling asleep.

We booked a little weekend getaway for our anniversary, and changed our minds last minute to Bend Oregon as the weather north wasnāt looking as nice, and so we made a last minute change. |Got a great price for a weekend rate, and found this Dog friendly hotel with a great location for anything and everything youād want to explore. ||The rooms were clean, just might need to update their bedding in some, ours had a tear and a stain on one part, but nothing major. There was plenty of green space for your dog around the hotel property. ||The only real complaint was with the restaurant that is part of the hotel. When we got checked in and went down to eat there was only one poor employee working the entire restaurant alone, all his co workers had called out, and he was taking orders, serving orders, cooking the food, you name it he was doing it, I couldnāt believe they couldnāt find him one more person to help him out. We felt really bad for him, he was busy and it was a Saturday night. So lots of people having to have long waits and not his fault, the menu is small only about 4 choices, and one of those was out of stock.|So they need to hire some decent people to keep the restaurant properly running as the property is nice and this was really our only negative and at no fault to the one employee who actually showed up to work.||So the 4 stars not 5 is because of that.

Nice hotel and conveniently located on the west side of town towards Mount bachelor. I only complaint is OMG the pillows were horrendous! Nice king bed with dinky lumpy pillows.
EV owners beware!!! The charging station is $.20 a kilowatt hour which is a decent price but thereās also two dollars per hour parking charged every 15 minutes. It would cost me $32 to get 60 kW. Thatās more expensive than any fast charger Iāve ever been at.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET. They gave away our room, and when we went to check in at 9:50pm with 4 kids- they told us they could put us in a room that didnāt have enough beds to sleep us- or we could buy ANOTHER ROOM š¤Æš¤Æ I told them the second room needed to be free. And they REFUSED. I spent an HOUR going back and forth. The REGIONAL MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED. she was so rude, told me I was lucky she was on the phone at 11pm. And said if I didnāt like it I could leave. I told her she should be fired, hung up- and left. A nice gentleman who had just checked in, tried to give us his room he just booked. Which we refused. I will NEVER stay with this hotel again. We had to call for a refund which has to be investigated and had to find a place that could accommodate 4 kids and 2 adults after 11:15 at night.
10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

So I give this place a shot every other year or so. My return 01/2025 visit showed next to no improvement since first coming here six years ago.
First of all, rooms are a 4/5. Spacious, well appointed and have everything youād expect for the rate. Beds were very comfortable and they provide pillows with different levels of firmness. I did find the room a tad dirty.
After that, everything else drops off.
I had initially made a two day reservation, but a couple weeks out called in and asked to make it a three night instead. Instead of modifying the reservation, they made an additional reservation for that extra night.
While checking in, I was speaking to a family who booked a suite for three nights on the Best Western app. On arrival, they were told they overbooked the hotel and were being downgraded.
At check in, I got a room location that was the exact opposite of what was requested in my Best Western Rewards membership. Erika checked me in, and she was amazing. Honestly, she was what kept me from just leaving and going to a Hilton.
After check, and making it to my room, I find the room is absolutely stripped bare. Mattresses have nothing on them, bathroom is empty and thereās garbage on the ground.
I go back to Erika and she has no idea what happened. Clearly wasnāt her fault, but someone elsewhere is failing her. Erika sees the note on my membership and gets me a room location based on preferences. I confirm with Erika that housekeeping is only by REQUEST during my stay. The placard in the room says itās to not bother you as much, lol. I ask her to have the room done Saturday.
On arrival to this room, EVERY SINGLE drawer and cabinet is WIDE open. Fridge door included. lol.
The following day, breakfast came and I saw itās still very disappointing. Bland food, VERY watery scramble eggs and limited selection of breads.
Walking back to the room, I saw the housekeeper on my floor, a Hispanic lady who has a young child with her in the room, singing and having a good time. I would see this housekeeper more through my three-day stay and saw she clearly brings her little girl to work with her every day. On one occasion I saw the girl refilling soaps in the hallway, and on another, saw the housekeeper in an occupied room, sitting on the chair talking on the phone while her little girl sprayed down a cabinet. The housecleaner did come on Saturday and did a really good job, missed the dirty spots mentioned prior though. She actually showed up while I was there and did not speak a single word of English, and had trouble communicating through a translation app.
Breakfast on Saturday was bad again. Bacon as thin as paper and overcooked, and like my last stay, the crew starts packing up around 8:45. Breakfast is over at 9:00 here, on a weekend. Also, the on-site restaurant is closed for renovations or reimagining or whatever.
My last gripe is the on-site EV Charger. The charger uses the Blink network. I used it overnight and saw Best Western has Blink charge $2 for using the spot, plus whatever the usage fees are. It is written in the terms that the property sets the parking fee, not Blink. As far as hotels goes, this isnāt entirely uncommon.
After parking overnight, I found out the parking fee is PER HOUR, so my EV usage turned into $33 for a āhalf tankā of electricity ($10 worth of electricity, $23 in parking). I brought this to the attention of two front desk agents, who said they would bring it to a managers attention. This never got addressed, and via text, my request to have it deducted from my room was literally ignored.
Itās pretty clear to me that the problem here is MANAGEMENT. The general manager clearly has no grasp on whatās happening transactionally with their guests, or with their supervisors and their employees. Reading through the Yelp reviews, Iām not certain theyāre even reading the ongoing similar complaints regarding the hotel dropping the ball.
This hotel would be great for someone with low expectations and only staying one night. Outside of that, go to the Hilton or other comparable hotel.

Great hotel with a great breakfast and spacious, modern rooms. Also the pool temperature was lovely not icy cold like most hotels. Location is phenomenal as well. You are close to things but not on top of them. Great park for walking or biking right there. šš»šš»

This place was nice. The room was clean . The bathroom is huge, and the shower is neat tucked in its own almost cave like space. Beware the lights for the bathroom, and the shower is on a timer, so make sure you set it for long enough, or you will be showering in the darkš
.
I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean, modern, and family-friendly with an indoor pool. They offered breakfast, which everyone ate and was happy with. We travel a lot and have family in the Bend/Redmond area, I would recommend staying at this hotel.
