This may have been the nicest motel room I've ever had, and the staff was incredible!||I originally booked the room for 2 nights through a 3rd party vendor, who had a non-refundable rate. The email from Americoast seemed to indicate that there was a 24-hour cancellation policy, so when our 2nd day fishing trip was cancelled, I tried to cancel the 2nd night. The gal at the front desk worked VERY hard to make sure that happened. She even worked with the 3rd party vendor to get the reservation cancelled, and then rebooked us for just the one night. I was very impressed with her perseverance to help us.||The room had obviously been updated recently. It was super clean, the paint was fresh, the floor a very clean wood-look laminate. The bathroom and shower was also great. Pillows were fluffy and the bed was very comfortable. Nice sized frig in the room, which was greatly appreciated, since we had travelled for 2 days with food in our cooler and our ice was just about out. Nice sized TV as well.||Motel was only 5 minutes away from the landing where our fishing trip started.||The only 'con' was that the motel's ice machine didn't work, and it was the only one, so we didn't have ice for our drinks in our room.

Typical of many small coastal motels this one is quite run down. The rooms are very dated and worn. The single ice machine at the motel has had a broken sign on it for months. However, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. And although Warren, the rooms are clean and reasonably maintained. The price is usually very good, but that can also be a detriment. It does not always draw the best crowd. I've had to ask people to stop smoking outside my door on multiple occasions. There are not many good options in town, but this one is definitely better than some of the other more seedy Motels.

Highly recommend staying here and we will again.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and the whole time during the booking process till actually getting there my wife was worried about the cleanliness and quality of the room compared to the price we spent (which is cheap if you look around). The room isn't top notch but definitely nothing wrong with it to our standards. Clean bed and room, plus working tv, mini fridge, microwave and air conditioner/heater. I liked how the bathroom had a small window towards the celing you can open and close to let steam out during a shower (or a smell you don't want people in your room to notice).
Only problems we had were our cards deactivated but I simply went to the office and problem solved then, there was no "do not disturb" signs to hang on the door. Some people don't want house keeping in their room while they are gone. They don't give that option (unfortunately) but nothing was stolen or moved of ours so I guess no harm done.
Great, easy to get to location and (on a clear day) great view of the ocean, probably more so if you get the 2nd floor.
We drove to any beach access so I don't know if it's within walking distance and as far as food/grocery you will need to drive.

I highly recommend this motel. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. We stayed on the second floor. Bed was comfy and air conditioner worked well. We could see the water and had no noise above us. We didn't have a reservation, we pulled in and got a room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

This is what I would’ve expect of a motel in a beachfront town. There’s nothing fancy about it, but the price is very reasonable. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. They give us great recommendations for dinner for a restaurant in town. It has a view of the water and an in room coffee maker. There’s really nothing to complain about.

Updated review: the owner finally responded to the review almost a year and a half later stating that those were third party responses but I have email screenshots I will attach showing they came from their front desk email I would also like to state I have the emails from cancellation too where I let them know I booked through their website not a third party

Unfortunately we had to cancel our reservations and got the run around trying to do so. I was unable to actually get anyone on the phone so I sent an email. Then this week the week of what would have been our reservation we received something that looks like a reservation booking .So I sent an email to double check it had got cancelled and got snarky rude emails back that it had been cancelled and there was nothing they could do I wasn’t on their check in board. All because I wanted to double check because of an emailed I received today pretty much stating my reservation was still there. I got no explanation from them as to why I may have received it and they acted like I was inconveniencing them by wanting to double checking that it really had been cancelled and I wouldn’t get charged for it.
