I will start with negatives and end with the positives. I have never stayed in a more filthy room. We stayed in room 54 and you could not walk across the floor barefoot because it would turn your feet black. The little separate bedroom looked like it had not been painted or cleaned since the hotel opened back in whatever year. The little bedroom had large black marks on a wall and all the walls were filthy. All the door jams in the rooms were filthy. The room was advertised as a two bedroom suite, but it was actually one tiny bedroom and an open space where a little living room should be. They advertised an ocean view, but what you got to see was a sliver of the horizon and the roof of the other motel rooms. Now for the positive... the location of the motel is perfect. The lady who checked us in was kind. The bathroom was generous in size and did not have the bathroom that was advertised on the Booking.com website. However, there was nowhere to put down things you would bring into the bathroom or hang wet towels. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten in is a two minute walk on the same side of the street and has a five dollar margaritas all day long if you sit at the bar. Finally, I believe I should get a refund because this place was falsely advertised with words and pictures and over priced.

Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Perfect location. Value for money. Will come back again. Helpful staff and lots of things to do nearby. Walking distance to the beach. Pet friendly and Lots of space for your pets to play in the green area .

I would recommend that anyone thinking about renting a room here seriously consider not staying here. The owners having been responding ("sorry for your inconvenience" , "upgrading as fast...")to all negative reviews about the same issues (filthy rooms, not as advertised, no view, dirty and stained sheets, etc.) for at least three years.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely most dirty rooms I have ever been in. And then when asking front desk for some dental supplies, they gave me an old used water bottle with apparently "mouth wash" in it. Gross!!! Also refused to give us a refund when blood was found in the room. Absolutely disgusting and worst people running the hotel. We ended up just leaving and going to Beach Front Inn. So worth the extra money. Cleanliness and being sanitary, or even safe for that matter, should not be something you have to argue for. Do not go here.

We frequently stay at the Blue Coast Inn for business appointments. The staff are always friendly, and go above and beyond for their guests to make sure they have the best stay they can, the rooms are well equipped with amenities other hotels charge extra for, the rooms are clean, the water pressure is adequate, and their prices are always fair. We will only stay at Blue Coast Inn when we are in town. ☆☆☆☆☆

No homeless. It's only homeless people of ill reputation that leave negative reviews, best I can tell.

No thermostat, a/c or air other than opening windows, which did NOT have screen on front largest window, making it worse with the no air issue, also no safety lock on front window. It wouldn't be ok to sleep with it cracked for air. The room wasn't bad, beds were hard and squeak yet nice decor. Other than the 'extremely' dirty floor, it was adequately cleaned. Stayed for 2 nights. keycards deactivated after 24hrs, that was inconvenient.
