I'm normally not a Ruben person. Having been a vegan for almost 10 years, the picture of a reuben in my head kind of makes me 🤢.
But, the title "tempeh rebuen" on this otherwise off-to-a-rough-start kind of day really stuck with me as I was searching for a vegan spot to grab dinner.
I am so glad that they didn't use seitan to try to mimic the red meat used in carnivorous reubens. The spices they used to make this just taste oh so fresh were phenomenal. And I couldn't pick out any specific taste that I wanted to replicate at home, because all the flavors just blended in so perfectly, it was refreshing. Even the pickle didn't taste like a standard pickle. This entire sandwich was made from scratch and it shows. And it's incredible. And the side salad 👩‍🍳😚👌
If you aren't a fan of vinegar, this dish isn't for you. But if you are, you won't regret it! I also got the pilsner to drink. Normally I don't pair a beer with a plate, but this was the perfect compliment to an already amazing meal. 🤤
Sorry I didn't take a picture. I was ravenous, and devoured the entire thing!
Big fan of the fence though! 😅

The food was delicious and the service was great! However, the bakery atmosphere for $25 dinners that were delicious was not So great. I recommend More of a nighttime vibe. The lights were way too bright. A few candles and some softer lighting and nice music this place would be top notch with the lines out the door for dinner.

My daughter and I met here before an appointment and it is a delightful coffee stop with yummy food options. We shared a peppermint mocha and a breakfast bagel. Plenty of seating and an inviting atmosphere.

Great place for brunch with a good variety of baked goods and eggs. Staff is friendly and very helpful and provide excellent service. I highly recommend the eggs benedict (available on Sundays only). The potatoes are also tasty. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future revisits when I am in the area again during my travels.

Bodhi Bistro in Corvallis is a gem! I had the pleasure of eating breakfast here twice during my visit, and both experiences were fantastic. The bistro has a casual vibe where you order at the register, and then find your own seating, which I found refreshing and efficient.

The huevos rancheros were excellent—perfectly cooked with a delightful balance of flavors. The Cali burrito was another standout, made with fresh ingredients and offering pleasant, complex flavors that left me wanting more.

One of the highlights is the lovely outdoor seating area. Surrounded by garden plants and offering a mix of shade and sun, it's a perfect spot to enjoy a meal near the river. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and great service! I have never been disappointed here. I highly recommend Bodhi Bistro for lunch and dinner. I have not been for breakfast but I assume it is just as good.

I am a fan of Budhi bakery in general. It was my first time visiting Budhi on 1st, I liked the service on their 2nd street though. I ordered the Budhi breakfast and added salad to my order too. I ended up getting two egg sandwich, without Avocado and curry potatoes. When I told them that, they said well this is Budhi breakfast. I had to tell them that my friend and I order the same thing, but our food is totally different. They asked me to wait for potatoes, it took another 10 minutes to complete my order and the food was already cold.
Overall, it was not my lucky day. The eggs were still delicious.
This branch is more of a sit-down space. many tables both inside and outside. The atmosphere is really nice and Danish pastries are yummy. I wish the service was better.
