Update: we ended up going back and glad we did because the coffee wasn't bad.

Google said 7am open on a Sunday but the gentleman said 8am through the window. Does Corvallis residents not like coffee before 8am?!

Great place but really needs to get a no laptops policy, especially in the Winter. Many people just come here to work for hours, which reduces the space available for people who actually just want to havd a coffee, and also jeopardizes the customer rotation and thus the bar's imcome.

Clean, modern & welcoming atmosphere. My barista was cheerful & very welcoming. I like to look for the local alternatives to Starbucks & this place does not disappoint! Bicycle friendly, pet friendly, free Wi-Fi, peaceful place to study. Highly recommend 👌.

Smashed avocado and feta bagels are incredible! Coffee is great! This is a go to spot for us every time we come to town.

Great coffee, terrible service. Perfect example — I was just at the annex location on 9th, I went there to get a cup of coffee and study. I brought my laptop and charger, I picked a place to sit and started setting everything up in my little corner. I had brought with me a breakfast item that was not from coffee culture because I am on a strict diet and their food options didn’t meet my needs. I sat down to turn my laptop on and then one of the baristas came up to me and very confrontationally said “excuse me, you cannot have outside food in here ESPECIALLY if you’re not ordering anything. That’s why theres a sign about it right in front of you.” And she walked off. Mind you, after I set my things up I was literally going to go order a coffee… but she didn’t give me a single minute to do so before telling me I needed to leave. I totally understand the no outside food rule! That wasn’t what upset me, it’s the rudeness and lack of tact from this woman that was upsetting. After this incident I gathered my things and left because I was really upset and didn’t feel like telling her the truth which was I was about to order, I just wanted to get out of there quite honestly. Is it really that hard to speak to a human being kindly? It shouldn’t be. But this is not the first time I’ve been treated this way by the girls that work here. I have been to each coffee culture location so many times because I honestly really love the coffee and haven’t found another place with this quality, but I won’t be going back because time and time again I’m treated poorly by the employees. I don’t stand for that, so I won’t be supporting this place any longer. Very disappointing and upsetting.
