It was delicious and awesome service. The place is very pretty and it was so cool and there was two paintings that are imaginative and beautiful. I love the little pot. It’s like a mushroom and has a little plant in it. The food was really yummy. My favorite was the ham and cheese. The railings and flowers are really cool different plants and nice seating. I hope you give this place five stars because I love this place and it’s really nice and fun to come to and it’s really close to me to insomnia and White Birch it has some amazing food and I had a really fun time here. Please come visit.

This hidden gem (unfortunately, a little hidden from the main road) deserves way more attention! I stumbled upon Lachona while in the Cedar Mills area, and now I’m already planning my next visit—and even daydreaming about booking a flight to Argentina. The empanadas were absolutely incredible! We ordered the Criolla, Humita, Sweet Beef, and Abuela Chona - all were delicious! Kim was amazing, helping us choose the perfect dishes and wine/drinks. The chorizo sausage and cheese wrapped in pastry puff is a must-try!

We are usually in this area 4 days a week and I always search places to eat near me and this never came up on my search. One day driving on NW Cornell Rd, we drove by this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Food is excellent, I never had so yummy Empanadas before. Our Server Kim was awesome! IN short, good food, wine, best service. They have whole variety of wines. This is the best hidden gem. Give it a try for Breakfast, Lunch or dinner. We will go definitely visit again.

We went here for the first time today. The food was excellent! We ordered 7 empanadas and two starters to share with the table. Each one was delicious. The spicy chicken was my favorite. Don’t be afraid of the ghost pepper. There was just enough spice to be interesting but it wasn’t overly spicy. And the chicken was fantastic! The wine flights are an experience! They come in what can only be described as a wine tree. You have to see it for yourself! And all the wines were very good. We finished off with a selection of wonderful desserts. I highly recommend going to LaChona!

Absolutely AMAZING food, service and beautiful atmosphere!! Amy’s empanadas are SO delicious! My favorites are the spicy chicken (not too spicy), spinach and Abuela Chona (ground beef). The alfajor cookies are to die for… delicate butter cookie filled with caramel… OMG, heavenly! 😍 And the coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had. This restaurant is an absolute must-visit for the food and friendly owner and staff. Definitely will make it our weekly destination or take-out. So good we brought more empanadas and alfajores home with us, too!

They also cater events and offer hamburgers and chicken dishes and brunch dishes like pancakes and eggs, in case you want something besides empanadas. We will be returning very soon!!

I was looking for a unique place for lunch and I found it! I ordered the chicken ‘milanesa’ and an empanada, and was not disappointed. The empanada was just the right flakiness and the filling was very savory. I just wish I would’ve had room in my stomach for more.

Their fries are fresh cut fries, and the chicken is a must try. Paired with both the 2020 and (had to try) 2021 Norte Y Sur Malbec. Fantastic selection of Argentinian wines.

If you’re looking for good eats, in a great atmosphere and amazing Argentinian wine selection, this place is a must.

Amazing empanadas and service. If you are a fan of empanadas you have to try LaChona! I am from Chile and empanadas are pretty much a national food there. I haven’t found any outside of Chile or made by my mom as good as these! It is a cute location with a nice vibe, good wine, and our server Kim was great. Great little spot for a relaxed date night. Highly recommend.

Wow. This place has wonderful and thoughtfully made high quality food, the bread here is fresh, the empanadas are to die for, and don’t forget the dessert! Wine selections are excellent and to top it off you can come here for brunch too (which I will need to so in the future). Quiet & clean atmosphere w/ really good customer service, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend this place!
