We were there for Finnfest in Naselle this weekend. got referred by friends who own a B&B in Yakima. The place had a nice view! however it is in need of major upkeep and repair. the Staff was friendly and nice, the breakfasts were great both days. the place was a bit more crowded than we expected although it was nice to have 2 beds.||the toilet was not cleaned and toilet paper was low. the 1st flight of stairs was ok the 2nd had odd spacing. would have liked to have a nightstand by the Queen bed.

It is very run down. Acoustic ceiling tiles show water stains and some are falling down. Bathroom has 1970’s linoleum, and one room had 1970’s shag carpet. Photos on-line do not show how the fabric on the settee was shredded with stuffing coming out. WiFi was too slow to use so had to use my cellular data. Linens are nothing special and don’t even match. No liquor allowed? Caffeine discouraged (packets of hot chocolate and decaf coffee offered.) Specialty of the house - smoked salmon and cream cheese on toasted bagel was served just like that - no purple onions, no capers. Second breakfast was plain scrambled eggs, sausage, and frozen French toast fingers. We did not even stay the third night. Nasty.

For a house that is 120 years old, you will get flaky paint here and there and no air conditioning in the rooms. The house is huge and each room has a different design and layout. For a party of three, we asked for the Cloud9 with a twin bed and queen bed. It's a tight spacing but it's a room with a bathroom attached so we like that!||||For us, it was all about pricing and location. We decided to skip breakfast since we heard it was lox and bagels that my son would not enjoy. The last day we were there, the power went out late at night. The hostess gave us money to get breakfast in town.||I would stay there again and try the Tree Top room which is more open in its layout.||We liked the fact that we could park and walk 4 blocks down to town than take the Trolley around if we needed to. The walk back up is a good way to burn off dinner!||You do need a quick lesson on locking and unlocking the main door. Safety first for the Guests!

Friends had recommended Grandview after their January 2017 review and we weren't disappointed. We were in the Gazebo room and what a view we had! Staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were fantastic! We love the view and location, close to Ft. George brewery, restaurants and the Heritage Museum. We did miss having a common area so that we might run into more guests but this time of year it is quiet anyway.

The Grandview was once an absolutely beautiful Victorian overlooking the water. Unfortunately the grand dame is now showing her age. The owners appear to have not done any maintenance for years. Exterior and interior paint is peeling, cobwebs are on hail way light fixtures and furniture in our room was threadbare. The garden beds are over run with weeds and the entranceway is piled with pet food, vacuum etc etc. Either the owner needs to lovingly restore her or allow the dame to peacefully retire.

This period home is exactly what I was looking for! The rooms were charming, clean and quiet. The Location WAS PERFECT, the morning hostess 'Carly' was cheerful and accommodating. We were seated in the private nook. The Breakfast was a fruit bowl (with several types of fresh fruit, the best cheese bagel of my life, perfectly toasted, with crème cheese and local smoked lox. I do not like lox so scrambled eggs was an option. I had a family emergency and had to cancel our last night and the owner was very gracious and did not charge us. I will gladly stay here again!

Wonderful and charming bed & breakfast in Astoria. The house is old, but very well maintained and it is perfectly located for a stroll through the lovely downtown. Staff is super-friendly and we really enjoyed the breakfast. I just wish we could have stayed longer - next time I would book a few days extra for sure!
