This was a great find. A gem of a restaurant. Exceptional Southern home cooking type food. I was there on a Monday and this is what was on the menu - fried chicken, smothered hamburger steak, chicken & dressing, spaghetti pie, baked fish, green beans, macaroni & cheese, broccoli & cheese, noodles & tomatoes, fried okra, turnip greens, purple hull peas, mashed potatoes & gravy, roll, cornbread, jalapeno cornbread, all kinds of cake, and peach cobbler, plus burgers, sandwiches, & salads. Simply amazing.

The service was great. Servers were on top of it. The atmosphere was that of a local Mom & Pop restaurant. There were a lot of customers at 3 & 4 PM, which says a lot about a restaurant.

Great food. Great experience. I will be back.

Been going here for years. Food is always great and service is too. My favorite is liver( I know some of you are groaning). They cook it just right and even scrape the onions off for me as I don't eat onions. Side dishes are delicious and desserts are wonderful especially the peach cobbler. Stop by and you won't be disappointed

I've eaten here a few times and I haven't had anything bad yet. The Friday night steak dinner is a good deal and the steaks are mouthwateringly delicious. You could also go for a good southern meat and three.

This restaurant was around when I was a kid and I remember how great it was back then. Today was the first time I’ve been since my childhood and I was a bit disappointed . This fish was wonderful and the pie was delicious, but our waiter hardly came to our table. She finally came to refill our drinks when we was done eating and getting ready to leave. Definitely should have people sitting folks also because I literally stood out on the middle of the place waiting for the one bus guy to clean tables. And other folks were just jumping in places and I didn’t even know where to stand or if I just stood by a dirty table and wait for the guy to clean up.

This place is not what I expected. Classic case of "don't judge a book by its cover. The food was hot and very good. Grandma's cooking is how I would describe it. Then I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out. Very reasonable prices. Definitely a hidden gem.

The guy that runs a place and I believe her name is Ashley, which she's an employee there, are really amazing people and sometimes I will choose, which I'm sure you do as well, not only the best food around but if if somewhere had the best food around but yet they were rude or off-putting or just seemed not so good, I can assure you that you probably wouldn't go back, whether the food was good or not. Sometimes the food don't have to be nothing to write home about, but the people are so great that you look for an excuse to go there.

Me saying that isn't implying their food isn't great but I am trying to show you that no matter how good something is on the outside if the people on the inside aren't as good what you don't want that kind of experience. This is family run, the people inside of it whether they're blood or not, or just so close and you can tell and the feeling of it inside is just down home, family run and family operated and the people inside are just that good. Y'all come by and check out my friends that I may just the other day on an accidental phone call and wound up going. One of the greatest phone calls that I never knew I needed to make.

And the owner you can tell really looks out for his employees because when I said I was on my way I could hear him in the background well what if he robs us all, which although it's not a good feeling to hear, he don't know me from the mask robber down the road so that's what he should have said and he's not down putting me he's just making his employees the priority.

It's like I told Ms Ashley when I heard it, if I give you 10 snakes and tell you that they're great but the problem is is one of these out of the 10 is going to bite you on purpose and when they do you'll die. Well since you don't know which one of the 10 it is that's going to be biting you it's in your best interest to tell all 10 I'm sorry you can't come in. That's not downputting the nine that's protecting you against the one. So he said what he should have said and unfortunately he was right, not with me of course but it is what you got to do. Thanks again to the White House because this place is really really magnificent. What a great great experience I had with great great people. It was a wonderful experience and I'll be by there soon again I can assure you
