This hotel is very clean and the gentleman that checked me in was delightful. I was extremely thankful there was zero fragrance in the room and this includes bedding and towels. I have a fragrance allergy. Unfortunately, I may have exposed whomever cleaned the room, as well as the nice gentleman who checked me in, as I just tested for covid and am positive. My apologies.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff made me feel right at home. The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail was evident everywhere.

This was my first time traveling to Oklahoma City and I really enjoyed my trip. I want to give a shout out to Chauncey, Michelle, and the cleaning crew. It is very rare to encounter hotel staff that genuinely care and enjoy their work. They were all very courteous and helpful. My stay here was very enjoyable. Hideaway Pizza which is located right next to the hotel was some of the best pizza I've had, and the view of the lake was very nice.

The breakfast food, it was nothing like the reviews said it was. There were no eggs , just some cold rubber sausage and chewy potato pieces. There was no plates. The lady bringing out the breakfast was nice , but she did not care About her job. She literally said Well this is what you get when you get free breakfast. I was appalled. The rooms are a $100 and up.So you would think that the continental free breakfast would be awesome! But sadly that was not the case. When we first got there, the room that we got the A.C did not work and the tv Didn't either. However the lady At the front desk was Extremely nice & very helpful! We appreciated her!

Let me start by saying I don’t expect five-star luxury from a La Quinta—but I do expect basic cleanliness, working amenities, and at least one staff member who acknowledges guests like they’re human beings. Sadly, this location missed the mark on all fronts.

First Impressions? Rough.
The lobby looked decent, sure, but don’t let that fool you. The elevators were slow and sounded like they were one ride away from collapsing. Walking to my room, the hallway carpets were stained and smelled like a weird mix of mildew and sadness.

The Room? A Crime Scene Vibe.
Opened the door and immediately got hit with a musty, unidentifiable odor. The sheets were clean enough, but the mattress sagged in the middle like it had seen way too many check-ins and not enough replacements. The bathroom mirror was streaked, and there were stray hairs in the tub—which, by the way, drained slower than molasses in January.

Amenities? False Advertising.
The “continental breakfast” was a joke. Watery coffee, stale cereal, and a sad basket of bananas that looked like they’d been in a bar fight. The pool? Closed. The ice machine? Out of order. The Wi-Fi? Might as well have sent smoke signals.

Customer Service? MIA.
The front desk staff seemed irritated by my mere existence. When I politely asked if another room was available due to the smell in mine, I was told flatly, “We’re full,” with zero eye contact or effort. Not even an apology or alternative suggestion. In addition to that my friends vehicle was robbed at this location and the front desk had no interest in the situation as they deemed the parking lot none of their business or problem.

Excellent location to visit the Oklahoma Memorial. Room was very nice. The lobby was very comfortable while waiting for the desk clerk. Breakfast was ample. Coffee available all hours. A basket of rags to clean your shoes or car windows. Will definitely put this hotel on my return list.

I primarily dealt with Chauncey who is the supervisor. He went above and beyond alongside his staff to ensure all needs were met. I applaud his professionalism and his customer service. The breakfast and breakfast staff was also more than the basic banana and one waffle maker. They were intentional and had multiple options including things to put into the waffles such as chocolate chips and nuts. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again!

When we're traveling with our two dogs, La Quinta has become an easy stop for us. This location is so easy to navigate to much of the city, and was very convenient for us going back and forth to my family's house nearby. Plenty of grass for our pups to walk on, and I appreciated the dog park area where they provided clean up bags...unfortunately, many don't use it, so watch where you step! (Please clean up after your doggies!)

The room was exactly what we needed...clean, comfy bed, and efficient bathroom.

The check-in process was super easy and I appreciated Chauncey's friendliness and clear instructions on wifi, breakfast, and other ins and outs. Everyone we encountered behind the desk was lovely and I would absolutely stay here again in the future!
