I travelled 3 hours to come to the Unclaimed Baggage place down the street and found this wonderful place for lunch. We were greeted nicely the moment we walked in and the atmosphere was delightful. Let me say I heard another gentleman say he wanted the Mac and Cheese Burger and that won me over, I had to have that. This Mac and Cheese burger was very delicious and hit the spot just right. My aunt and friend both got the bacon cheeseburger and for dessert got a couple of shakes to go. If you are ever in town please stop by this place they will treat you right.

The food was tasty, the fries and onion rings were a little oily for our preference bud very flavorful. The burger was delicious and the Buffalo chicken fries were ad well. The ice cream appealed to be home-made. This will be a new go-to for us when we are in town.

We've been eating at Pappy's Place for years. Never had a bad experience and food is always amazing. I saw a review about a bug and I promise you in all the years we've eaten here, this has never been the case. I do know the individual that created that review works for a local competitor in the area. Pappy and his family are hard working people that put there heart and soul into the restaurant, the food and their customers.

What an amazing place this is! The owners were very personable. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was to die for. We had jalapeño poppers, Philly cheese fries, and a jalapeño burger. Food was off the charts good!

When I say jalapeños poppers, I need you to understand that this is NOT fake, breaded garbage. I’m talking about fresh jalapeños, stuffed with cream cheese, and wrapped in bacon. Poppers done RIGHT!

The food was absolutely amazing! This local "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant makes its food fresh to order and season it themselves. My wife and I are still talking about the burger's flavor and savoriness, along with the cheesesteak patty melt fries, 4-5 days later. This is a family-owned small business; you should definitely support them and your taste buds! When traveling through Scottsboro in the future, we will absolutely stop here again. The outside porch area with the train coming through also gave a nice, down-to-earth touch.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Scottsboro. Excellent service. The smashburger was phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned and had that slight crunch on the outside. Handcut fries are the perfect addition. The extreme milkshake is on another level. Well crafted and bursting with flavor. The owners are super friendly.

My husband and I visited this cute little restaurant yesterday. We just happened to find it, and what an amazing find.!! The place is owned by Andrea and her husband "Pappy"- such nice folks! The food was super flavorful, presented nicely, and you can tell it's made with lots of love. Best pulled pork sandwich Ive ever had! We also enjoyed the banana split with homemade ice cream WOOOW!!! Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.... Yes, we'll make the 1 hr drive just to come here- it's that good.

We happened to be passing through Scottsboro and were looking for a place to stop to eat and are so glad we stopped here. If you live in Scottsboro you should count yourself lucky to live so close to Pappy's Place. I'm happy to have stopped on a Friday and learn that is the only day they serve fried catfish. It was the BEST fried catfish I have ever had. My fiancée ordered the grilled chicken and it was so perfectly cooked and the seasoning was incredible. Everything is made to order and the smell of the fresh food fills the place as it's being cooked. We finished our meal by splitting a brownie sundae, they used a waffle iron to cook the brownie so it came out fast and hot and had so many pockets for the caramel and ice cream to get into. Amazing place!
