Positive: What I liked best about the hotel was the respectful and helpful staff, the location was in a residential area away from the highway and busy streets, and the linens on the bed. Our room was upgraded to a larger room with a wonderful 8th-floor view. Negative: Based on the hotel's history and its quality reputation, I anticipated a higher-end breakfast buffet. We ordered from the menu, the eggs benedict which did not have the sauce available, so we ordered the All American Breakfast.

I just finished an 8 day road trip. I kept my expectations low for my hotel visits, just as long as I had a comfortable place to shower and sleep. Once I pulled up to the Waterford, I thought I made a mistake because the hotel was beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful, too. My room was amazing! I really wanted to stay longer.

There's a full bar and restaurant, and the free breakfast has freshly baked goods (lemon bars and muffins filled with cream cheese) and hot breakfast selections.

I've visited four times now. It's one of the better okc hotels. The area makes me feel safe, even traveling alone. I'd say if you're looking for a moderate luxury experience, and not afraid of your car or room being messed with, this is for you! One occasion ive seen kids *they were holding an event* it was a bit noisey and caused some disturbances. But other than that, pretty quiet. Visited mostly in spring and fall and during weekdays.

The Hotel itself is fine. Not what I would expect from the Renaissance line within Marriott. The staff was friendly but unfortunately that was the limit to the positive.

To be quick... the bed was the worst bed I've endured for as long as I can remember. Hard spring mattress that was just terrible.

TV is older with no ability to connect to any streaming service. The TV Guide only showed the channel lineup so it reminded me of my childhood where you just am had to check out each channel to find something worth watching. It's time to catch up with 2015 when Marriott started offering this ability.

Equally challenging was that I could not control the thermostat. The room was 74 degrees when I entered. I attempted to turn it down to anything less than 70, but it's one of those master controlled systems where you can turn it off. BUT the master control had been set to heat. Without a window or the ability to cool the room, the room never got below 71.

So should you stay here? If you don't care what temperature your room is and you have no intention of laying on the bed, then give it a go!

As a Marriott Gold Member, I was looking forward to trying this property.

Upon entering, the facility itself definitely feels dated in terms of lower ceilings, older doors and building appearance.

Pros were parking, which was free & easy to find on my stay, as well as location. Easy to get in & out and very accessible and centrally located!

The cons and where I’m disappointed are:

- Was not offered any sort of room upgrade as a Gold Elite even though property seemed relatively empty. Was also not thanked for being Gold Elite, just given 2 water bottles.
- My room was on fifth floor. Room was a total letdown. It did not even have a chair to sit in. Literally was two beds, a small portable table and that’s it. Not even a desk chair! Nowhere to work or sit comfortably.
- Bathroom toilet and tub did not appear to have been cleaned well.
- despite being away from elevator, room was incredibly noisy due to constantly hearing other doors opening & closing.

Overall, they classify this property as 4-stars, so I expected some level of luxury. The only thing luxurious is honestly the part of town, but the rest of the property is aging and photos of the rooms online make them look much more posh than the room I was given!

I likely wouldn’t stay here again unless it was for the location only. I’ve stayed at Marriott with a lower star rating that were much better maintained and rooms were cleaner and more comfortable!

I did not stay here but attended a birthday brunch for an acquaintance. Beautiful lobby and building. Attendant at the front door who assisted my handicapped Aunt was extremely kind and helpful.
The food provided for the brunch was beautifully presented and delicious. My Aunt and I very much enjoyed our experience here.

Very nice hotel and staff. I have stayed here 3 different occasions and haven’t experienced many issues. Some of the rooms are more upkept than others but still a modern feel in every room and clean! All staff has been kind. I will say one lady at breakfast was rude to my bf when he ate there alone but I have had a positive experiences when staying there for business and with my encounters.

Good location, nice staff, good parking, ok breakfast, comfortable bed. Only one hook in bathroom for clothes, towels or anything. Shower curtain extended 1” into tub so water everywhere including miniature thin bath mat. Uncomfortable room furniture.
