Like an ice cold coca cola in the middle of the desert. It is so refreshing to see this hotel from a distance after hours of driving and all I want is a hot shower and a warm bed.
The rooms are modern and comfortable.
The staff is professional and courteous but also friendly. This is an important balance of these three qualities to provide real hospitality!
The little details in the bathrooms was such a plus. It means that their cleaning staff is professional.

The blinds in the room did not work so it was jammed into side of window to give light. The light next to bed was missing it's lampshade which was promptly taken care of. There were candy wrappers in the ice bucket and the hairdryer was missing. We were told that none of the blinds which are remote controlled were working in hotel.
On the plus side the lady working in the breakfast area was very pleasant and everything was full and hot. We have stayed here before and were always satisfied.

The elevator was broken down when we arrived with our dog. They put us on the 3rd floor. I asked for a different room and they said non was available. It was a hassle for our small dog on the stairs. We had spent 12 hours in the car. We did not sleep because the mattress was so bad. It made our trip hard. We complained but was offered no solution. Not to the usual standards for this brand.

Upon check in, I received 2 old remotes with instructions on how to interchange them to function. I tried all combinations and got the tv on, but could not change channels. Since the purpose of choosing this hotel was to watch the NBA all star challenges and game, we proceeded immediately to check out. We didn’t even turn down the beds. The best the reception clerk could do was offer a 10$ knock off. She had no other rooms available except suites. To be fair, she was professional, knowing she didn’t have the authority to offer us a suite. But being charged for that night was unacceptable.

First off, I did not receive an e-mail survey for our stay. So, you question why They were aware of the problems and did not want me to share our experience.

The thermostat did not work, it was 63 degrees in the room. The TV bracket was broken so the tv was sideways. the sink in the bathroom was not draining. The toilet seat was broken, so if you sat down it went sideways.

These were the cleanest guest rooms I have ever experienced in an IHG hotel. The sheets smelled fresh, and the bathroom was spotless. The temperature was comfortable, and the USB ports by the bed were most useful.

The soundproofing in this hotel is very poor. I could easily hear my neighbors on both sides.

When I first entered my room, I immediately heard people talking in the next room. I went to the front desk and asked to be moved to another room, but the receptionist simply offered to ask my neighbors to be quieter. I realized this wouldn’t help, as they weren’t being particularly loud—just having a normal conversation. The real issue was the poor sound insulation.

A few hours later, I started hearing noise from the other side as well. Then, at around 4 a.m., I was woken up when my neighbors got up to leave the hotel.

I was really impressed with the hotel, especially the cleanliness and the fact that it's dog-friendly – a huge bonus! The breakfast selection was also fantastic, and the kind lady managing the buffet this morning was a true ray of sunshine, going above and beyond to make sure guests had everything they needed.
