We just happened upon this place while out on a drive. Glad we did. It's not elegant dining, but isn't meant to be.
The staff was wonderful and the food was great and there was a lot of it, especially for the price. Very reasonable. The Misses ordered the full nachos and we ended up taking almost half of it home.
Next trip to Nocona we'll be back.

Had Friday fish basket and was the worst tartar sauce I ever had. Friend had a chicken fried steak that was not good. Just a bad experience and won’t drive that far to give another chance.

Ordered and waited an hour, they still hadn’t started cooking our food. Cancelled and left. Doesn’t make sense. There were people there way before us that were still waiting when we left.

My omelette was great. Tons of food. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We got there at 9:45 on a Sunday morning. There was no wait, food came out super quick.

Fantastic steak fingers. Mashed taters are truly mashed with some skins in them. Pinto beans are fresh from the roaster. I would recommend Bears Den to anyone if you want fresh cooked food.

The eggs didn’t have much taste. Cook them in bacon grease. Rest of breakfast food was good.

They are only open for breakfast and lunch. They close at 2:00 and reopen at 4:00. I showed up twice within 15 minutes of closing after lunch. Both times they were nice enough to accommodate us anyways. I am working near by from Fort Worth. Pam is so nice and gives a warm welcome. I will definitely return if ever in the area again.
