Although the front desk staff was awesome, the hotel and rooms are very dated. The sofa and other upholstered furniture was badly worn, and the carpet in the room didn't look clean (perhaps it's time to go to LVT). The room appeared clean, but the fact that it is very dated it was hard to tell. The bed was comfortable. The area leading to the pool and fitness areas had a noticeable odor. The breakfast was sufficient, however, the worker who prepared and set it up did a great job in maintaining a clean area for guests.

The pool was having regular maintenance done, but we were only staying overnight so that wasn't a problem.

I truly appreciate the fact that the hotel does NOT allow pets other than service animals. Unfortunately, we have pet allergies and do not like the idea that a pet may have been in the bed that we will go to sleep in (and no amount of cleaning can remove all pet dander).

This Holiday Inn Express in Hermitage, PA was a level above many Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed in. The first thing that struck me when I walked in was the genuinely friendly greeting by the desk person. I really felt like she was really glad I was there. Also the lobby with the fireplace, large chairs and sofa provided more of a cozy, resort feel, not a sterile feel you get in some hotel lobby’s. Another standout feature was the warm cookies and ice cream treats available in the late afternoon/early evening. This hotel was excellent overall.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in, and our room was already prepared. Traveling with our 4-year-old twins, we were strategically placed just off the lobby, conveniently close to the pool, vending machines, and dining area. The free snacks and ice cream were a lifesaver and made our kids so happy. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options. Everything, including the room and pool, was spotless, and the beds were super comfortable. We needed to stay an extra night, and the staff was so helpful, allowing us to stay in the same room for the additional night. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and will definitely return in the future.

This Holiday Inn was great. The staff was so nice and accommodating. The extra perks of popcorn, cookies, and icecream was a fun touch. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool and outdoor patio area were great. The breakfast was good, too. An awesome stay!!

We stayed at this location 2 times within a week and a half as our travel plans took us by here. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The bonus is they offer popcorn, cookies, and ice cream bars in the evening. They also had hot cocoa available along with marshmallows and mini chocolate chips to add to your cup. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if our travel plans take us that way.

Such a nice hotel! So clean and everyone is so friendly. The kids loved the pool and we loved the outdoor space. The snacks were a fun touch. Breakfast was great. We will be back!

The check in was fast and efficient. The elevator went up and down on cue. The facility was immaculate. The room was spacious and fully stocked. I liked the bed. The chair by the desk was first rate and actually worked to raise and lower the height. You had good recharger outlets in the room. Breakfast was quite decent. While I thought it could be even better, I may be too picky! I would not hesitate to return to this facility.

We were booked for one night and were greeted by a helpful and friendly staff member upon arrival. He reviewed all the amenities and even provided dinner recommendations when we asked. We were pleased with how clean and well appointed the room was. The evening snacks were a great touch. The breakfast was far more abundant than I thought a continental breakfast would be. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
