The Farmhouse deserves 6 stars at least!
That beautiful property is a hidden gem in the area - I don’t even know where to start describing it. It consists of two buildings: elegant main house, stunning decorated with antics, and a barn house, with more casual vibe. They serve you a yummy, freshly prepared and beautifully presented 3-course breakfast.
Jacob and Rae who hosted as are the best hosts you can wish for: super friendly and welcoming, extremely helpful and great cooks! Thank you both for hosting us and our friends - everyone had wonderful time and spoke highly of you 🫶

Just by chance we stumbled upon this place and we are so glad we did! The property was both peaceful and beautiful and the service was above and beyond. I can’t stress enough how amazing our host Jacob was. The kindness we received made it feel like we were a guest of the family and not just another hotel patron. We were beyond pleased with our stay! We can’t wait to return when we are back in the area.

We had a 50th birthday celebration here for 10 people. Every room was perfect, even the Christmas decorations didn't have a ball out of place..the cookies left in the bedrooms for us we the best ever! We found the library relaxing and quiet, the dining room elegant. Breakfast was terrific especially the scones. Their other building, The Barn, is a great place to on the property. This is a perfect getaway place for an event, just get out of town, girls weekend, or wedding parties. The proprietors were very easy and accommodating. Great place!

My husband and I went for a night away and it was wonderful. The service, hospitality, and food was fabulous. (The breakfast food was amazingly good) We stayed in the Provence Suite and it was beautiful. Every detail of the house is exquisite. It is definitely the nicest BNB we have ever stayed in. We walked around the grounds and enjoyed a coffee on the patio. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I came here with my husband for a quick getaway from Dallas. The property is gorgeous - the rooms actually look like the photos. We stayed in the Provence suite, and we loved the fireplace and the beautiful king bed. But we peaked in all the rooms, and they all looked beautiful. Owner Frank couldn't have been nicer. He set a fire for us in the den while we played cards before dinner, there was coffee and hot cider available, and some great books on the bookshelves. In the morning, Frank and his son served up a delicious breakfast. They were friendly, courteous, and unobtrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick retreat from Dallas! (And also recommend a stop by Ironroot Republic Distillary!)

This property is beautifully designed with loving attention to detail. The farmhouse has the feel of an old New England farmhouse with the amenities of a modern, upscale property. The rooms are beautiful, private, and very clean. The owner was hospitable and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The three-course breakfast was delicious. This property is a perfect romantic getaway. The Farmhouse Estate is also a great destination for birders because it is located a few minutes away from Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. I hope we have the opportunity to visit again.

This Bed and Breakfast is beautiful! The rooms are elegantly designed, spacious, better than most 5 star hotels! The Owners/Hosts are friendly, courteous, and very professional. You are treated like royalty, and the breakfast in the morning --- is very delicious, much like high end restaurants. The Hosts were also the cooks, and i think they can cook better than most chefs at the more expensive establishments. I cant say enough about this place. If you only do this once, this would be the place to go to experience the BEST !!!
