I recently stayed at the Best Western in Choctaw, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The place was spotless, and you can tell they take pride in keeping everything clean and well-maintained.

Unfortunately, the bed was way too hard, and it caused me aches and the pains, made it very difficult to get any rest. On top of that, the coffee was terrible—not exactly the way you want to start your morning!!!

If they could improve the mattress comfort and upgrade the coffee, this place would be much better. That said, the cleanliness and exceptional staff still make it a decent choice if you're in the area.

Update: As time has went on and we are still living here things have become much better. It is apparent the workers are overworked and doing the best they can. Breakfast has become much better and I think the problem was several softball teams were here and it was hard to keep up. The housekeeper is a sweet lady working very hard often until the evening hours. She gladly cleans our room and will change the sheets. All we have to do is ask. She is the best. Overall we are pretty happy and the staff has been very welcoming and helpful.
The front desk people are great and the location is really convenient. We are living here due to being displaced from our home by a tornado.

This is one of the best hotels i've stayed in in a long time and we spend tens of thousands of dollars on rooms every year for our company. Everything is new clean affordable.The staff is great 0 problems in the parking lot, location is Really good.You have everything around you.You need to eat or shop for groceries. We'll stay there any time i'm in that area. They also have plenty of room for our big service truck. No semi's though.

The rooms were very clean and actually smelt good. The indoor pool was crystal clear, staff was great and the breakfast was the best one we’ve ever had staying at a hotel! We do tons of travel so we were so pleased with this stay!

This property is an exceptional value and a big surprise in such a small community. It is new and the amenities are most surprising in a small town hotel. The pool, hot breakfast, quality of linen, rooms, atmosphere, and so much more are praiseworthy. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Parking is generous, as is the free wi-fi and excellent cable channel line up. I've traveled the world for decades, but have been happily retired for thirteen years. After being spoiled in boutique hotels, resorts, and major properties you learn to appreciated the unexpected. The Best Western Plus in Choctaw, Oklahoma is the best surprise.

Waited in line for 35 min to check in. Hotel admin was having an in depth conversation about the car wreck at the Walmart gas station adjacent the hotel. Literally stood in line so long that I went and sat down in a chair until their conversation was over then finally got checked into the hotel

PRO: Hotel was newer, updated and overall in good shape. Pool was indoor, clean, no heavily chlorinated smell. Sheets were clean, room service was great! Beds comfy. Breakfast was pretty good! Plenty of parking. |CON: pool room was hot, like a sauna. Probably 95°. They have a water fountain with a bottle filler in the lobby that was not working, small as it was, it would have been nice to be able to use it. There were dead crickets all over and never cleaned. For 5 days one laid in front of the elevator doors where guest had to step over it. No one is cleaning the lobby at all.|Room smelled like old boxes, Really off but not unbearable.

Everything is good here during the week days, on the weekends there's always a bunch of noisy kid running around the hallway, open the room door and yelling who's got extra towels, things like that, I thought Americans human development index is high but it's not.
