We drove a few hours from out of state because we love Oklahoma. We tried this place, Not expecting much but boy were we wrong. The food was bussin! And the staff was so friendly! We will definitely make our way back sometime in the future. Thank you!

Western Sizzlin’ used to be a decent steakhouse, so we stopped by and noticed the sign also said xxx”buffet” - we aren’t a fan of over-cooked, mushy cafeteria food but we cautiously paid. But the pot roast and veggies were hot and decent, the salad bar okay, and I even enjoyed a slice of coconut cream pie. Decor was worn-out and tired from twenty years ago and the whole place unfortunately smelled like a musty retirement home dining hall, at best. (We didn’t try the steak)

Thought we would try this place because we haven't seen a Western Sizzlin or eaten at one in years. I was in a pretty good mood until the rude waitress came over to our table and demanded to know why we had the plates that were given to us when we ordered. They were given to us that is why. She also had the nerve to ask me why I didn't finish the cinnamon roll. It was nasty that's why. Told her that I didn't eat the vegetables that came with my steak because they were too salty and her response to that was that the owner cooked it. I do not care who cooked it, it was SALTY! Would not recommend this place at all. I am also not one to leave reviews, but she was so rude and hateful I had to leave a review.

My wife, mother in law, uncle and I met some other family members from Texas at this Western Sizzling for lunch. Located in Altus, OK, the restaurant has a buffet style lunch available as well as a menu. All of our party had the buffet. There were many items available on the buffet and all that I had were cooked correctly, not cold or dried out and tasted good!
I have to mention the fried chicken which was excellent!

The lunch buffet was priced right at $9.99 per person.

Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks full and the table cleared of dirty dishes. The entire staff was on the ball and appeared to keep everything running smooth!

The facility was pretty clean and well maintained!

People are sloppy when you go a get your food the employees don't keep the food separated it's all over the place they over fill the tubs it comes in. They also do not keep up the cleaning between each food tubs. The food doesn't taste good and their pudding tastes like it comes out of a box. Nothing like golden corral!

Everything about this place is perfect - less expensive than a Chinese buffet, and they don't serve the same thing everyday. You get free drinks with your meal, they serve steak on weekends, takeout is only $6.25 a pound, and beautiful women work here. What's not to like about this place? They even serve spaghetti on Wednesdays.

It's pricey but the food is pretty good granted it's the only real buffet in altus Oklahoma

Hadn't been to a western sizzling in years but we were driving through Altus and stopped in and it was so good. I truly recommend this place!
