Best accommodation in Sulphur Springs. Family-run by a couple local to the area. The room was comfortable, a good size and breakfast was fantastic. They even were able to make my breakfast dairy free! Thank you for your hospitality.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay at the Oaks. First, Allison was so kind and personable from the moment we booked until we checked out. She made sure our family was comfortable and well taken care of during our stay. Our room was beautiful. We stayed in the Sycamore suite. It was very spacious, clean, and had an impressive attached bathroom. Along with the beautiful room and wonderful hospitality, the breakfast did not disappoint! Allison is a fantastic cook and made a variety of different dishes each morning. We stayed several nights and each breakfast we ate at the Oaks was superb. Allison was even intentional to put out coffee for my husband and tea for me once she noticed our preferences. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back again.

The Oaks was very clean, spacious, and well decorated. We ordered a bottle of wine for our stay, and Angela went out of the way to get our favorite brand, which we enjoyed on the large deck in the back.

We stayed in the Dogwood room, which was beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing. Lots and lots of space. Huge walk in shower, two separate sinks, plus a corner Jacuzzi tub.

The sweet potato quiche for breakfast with fruit and coffee cake was delicious.
We were even allowed to take some clippings of her stunning red lantana that grew in the front. We would definitely come back here again if we are in the area.

what a lovely stay! my mom & i stayed one night in the magnolia room bc we were attending a wedding in town & everything from the accommodations to the breakfast in the morning to meeting allison, the owner, was spectacular! we will definitely stay again anytime we are back in town 🙂

Really nice little place. The owners have obviously worked hard to bring this up to speed, and it shows.
Our Dogwood room was great. Comfy, unique and laid out very well. Very spacious bathroom.
Food was really exceptional.
Miss Alison is a very gracious host, incredible cook and great conversationalist. Really enjoyed getting to know her a little and good insight to the town of Sulphur Springs.

Thanks Alison. Hopefully we can come back for another mini-vacation.

My husband and I decided last minute to stay the night in town instead of driving two hours home. We began searching for a hotel room in the area and came across this little gem. So conveniently located. Very clean with an old time charming feel to the rooms. The service from reserving the room to fresh breakfast served was great. We had a great night's sleep and will definitely have to come back again.

Allison- this newsletter is wonderful - a reminder of how much I have enjoyed my stays at The Oaks. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable with privacy and quiet. The food is delightful! Each morning I anticipated a new dish to get the day started right. You do a great job! I enjoyed your friendly hospitality and have come to feel like I'm at home with you. Thanks so much for making your home available to travelers. I'm usually there for a week and never know there are other folks in the house. I always get work done (I'm a writer) and also get to relax with my friends and family. I can't wait to try the new tapas bar. Also - Your kids are amazing! See you this spring - as usual! What a gem! We stayed in the Magnolia Room; super clean, roomy and well-furnished. Breakfast was delicious, and Allison was wonderful accommodating my preference for gluten and dairy free. Amazing coffee too. Great location that was walking distance to a super-cool downtown!
