The manager was great.

The owner advertises it as a backpackers for tourists, however it is more of a homeless shelter. The owner would not refund me after spending 1 hour there and i communicated fairly and nicely. I would not go there if I was female or not street smart in Dallas, as it potentially dangerous with obvious drug usage.

I will say again, that the manager was very friendly and helpful. Obviously the owner doesn't have morals and is all about they money from anyone though.

Probably the worst experience of my life, and I went to a lot of hostel ! I cannot describe what I lived : the place is nasty and horrible ; the guests are unwelcoming to say the least, scary and disrespectful (the we’re entering in the bedroom at 2am without reason and without closing the door). I never felt so unsafe in my life. I would have slept outside if it wasn’t that cold - and I mean it !!
Don’t go there please.

I don’t think anybody who’s leaving reviews here has actually been to a hostel.

This place is a 10/10 for what you’re paying for and that’s absolutely all that matters.

I arrived at 11pm on a Saturday because my sleeping plans went bad due to a friend blacking out and being poured into an uber then not being able to let me into his apartment so I was forced to find a bed elsewhere, not sleeping in my truck in 18 F weather.

Place was open, paid upfront, all the amenities you need for a one night stay.

If you want everything that comes with a hotel or AirBnB, newsflash, get one of those.

I love this hostel. The people are the best part. It's a cowboy themed hostel in Texas where there's community meals, public transportation and comfortable beds.
It's not a 5 star hotel but it's perfect for what it is.

Would not recommend. Booked in the hostel for a week and left for a hotel without even staying a night. The place is dirty, sketchy and people are not friendly. Had to phone to check in (that’s fine) once in felt unwelcome by all the other ‘guests’ and there was a dog freely wondering around. Don’t feel like the other guests are hostellers and felt like they live there. Admittedly didn’t sleep there so could’ve been proved wrong but did not feel safe at all

A fantastic hostel experience. Definitely the kind of place I look for in a hostel. A good price, a great chance to meet people, and great amenities. For the eclipse they even had some free food which was very much appreciated.

This is nothing but a dope house. You got people there creep walking and fake sleeping and act as if you owe them something. The owner a Mr. Ivan is only interested in how much money he can be at you out of and has his crew of liars that are there to try and set you up. I was assaulted and👍 when I defended myself they all the house roaches people tried to lie and have me arrested. Plus the owner owes me money and is❣️ taking his sweet Tim refunding it back to me. THE PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN

Let me start by saying I stayed here for 2 weeks. (To long) the place is nasty has cockroach and the so called manager if you will. He make you feel very uncomfortable. Makes unwelcoming remarks about guest . This is my opinion. ( no one goes without sleep for days at a time without help ) one guy bragged about being put in jail because he was so high on meth. Not a very good place to stay. I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels all over the world. BUT THIS ONCE WAS THE WORST. I do not recommend this place at all . Nasty management and nasty place. Beware.
