Sid’s definitely serves one of the best and most original burgers in America. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always very tasty and fresh. The burgers aren’t too big and they are too small and they taste delicious. The fries in particular are just little pieces of heaven. Never had an even a mediocre burger or food here. Must stop if you are traveling on i40!

@sidsdiner I’ve lived in Oklahoma for 25 years and am sad that I just now finally getting to taste the Original Oklahoma Onion Burger!!! All I can say is don’t wait this is a must try place to eat.

One thing I did find out is that you can actually make a reservation!! I would definitely do that!

Instead as you enter the restaurant you will notice the seating is limited on the inside. There is a covered seating area which you can also place your order from! We are provided with a pager to let us know we’re next in line.

Our wait was probably 5 minutes so not long. While waiting we had an opportunity to review the menu. Our server was Abby and she was great!!

It was easy for me, I chose the 1/2 lb onion burger with everything on it. Onion rings as the side were fantastic. Thick & crispy!! I decided I wanted to try their shakes so I asked if they had a Banana & Cherry which I’ve never had. A great combo!!

My wife chose the Steak & Shake long with fries. She got the chocolate shake - another good selection! One note to mention if you like your fries crispy do not order them crispy.

Overall highly recommend to put this in your must places to try!

Sid's Diner is an ICON, for a reason: Food is delicious and breakfast portions are HUGE. Adam is the 3rd generation to run the restaurant and he is extremely friendly and attentive (and his wife makes a DYNAMITE salsa!). I don't really need to recommend this eatery as its reputation speaks for itself. They have a long-time fan base. They will keep going strong, I'm sure...

My wife and I are not locals here in El Reno,OK. We were told to go here and try it. First day I had a fried onion burger with fries and the wife had a bowl of chili. It was all full of flavor and well worth the price. Cheaper here then McDonald's or any burger spot. Two days later I got the steak sandwich and my wife got the frito pie. Once again the food was amazing and the peanut butter shake was delicious. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be back here again. If you are in El Reno,OK you have to try this place.

Everything I expected it to be! Fantastic Oklahoma style onion burger, aka smash burger. We could easily eat these until we popped! There's also and amazing outdoor, enclosed, heated and cooled dining area that is dog friendly which we really appreciated. We can't wait to come back and visit again.

Insane milkshake! I had the peanut butter chocolate.
Onions were overcooked and really burnt so it made the burger taste bitter. Burger was good not great. Lacked flavour other than salt.
Onion rings were decent.
Overall experience was an 8/10

I absolutely loved my experience here. The classic dining scene that had history and the smell of a quick fire meal. The food was delicious, and the owners were extremely welcoming. Would recommend any given day.

We sat at the counter right across from the grill. The burgers were great. One basket of fries was plenty for 3 of us. I had a peanut butter malt that was so thick it lasted most of the ride home.
We got in right before the lunch rush. It quickly became crowded and a little loud. The ventilation system was doing a great job because we hardly smelled of onions after leaving.
