Booked cabin. Paid and when we received itemized receipt they had added a $30 charge extra per night. The cabin held 16 we had half that. Not even enough to fill all all the beds. When asked what the charges were for they said that is was for extra people. No where in any part of the reservation did it say that there was a charge for that. When asked where it said that they responded that maybe this reservation just didn’t have it in there written. I screen shot the entire reservation and asked where it said that and they just responded that we could cancel. Very poor business practice . Charged extra for arriving early, would not discount adding a day early as most cabins have in the past. Also the directions directed you to another house, wrong house name and everything on the listing, and when I mentioned they should change that they literally just looked and shrugged. All that I can look past, but charging for something that wasn’t in rules and refusing to make it right is just fraud. Don’t book unless you see all charges because they can basically add whatever and expect you to pay. Would give zero stars and would book cabin again but not through this management company. We have been coming for over 10yrs and never had such poor service.

We stayed in the timber ridge retreat. We had a good time, but won’t be returning. We were told we could arrive 1 hour early but when we did the cleaning lady was still there and seemed extremely mad that we were there early. There was a misunderstanding on our part with the number of people who could stay in our cabin. (this was our own fault and a simple misunderstanding when booking) The property management showed up and knew exactly how many people was with us (even down to the 8 month old, the owners of the cabin was apparently watching us on camera and called them. We made it right and paid the difference and we apologized. We have stayed in numerous different cabins and never dealt with cameras being around the cabin. We didn’t like that. We felt watched the entire time after that and definitely didn’t feel comfortable letting our kids run around in their bathing suits and stuff. Had we not spent so much to stay and traveled from Texas we honestly probably would have left. We don’t know who is on the other end of that camera and really didn’t like the thought of being watched. Our usual cabin was booked up and we definitely missed it. We still had fun but won’t be returning for the simple fact of being watched on cameras. I will say that the cabin is beautiful and was very well stocked!

The cabin was beautiful, clean and well stocked. We had stayed at a previous cabin months back there didn't have a cookie sheet and didn't have the items needed to play the foosball table so it was nice not to have that issue. We LOVED the outdoor fireplace. The one recommendation I would have is that because there are only 2 bathrooms there needs to be mirrors in the bedrooms to aide in getting ready. Also they carry a steep fee if you forget something to mail it back to you. ($45). I forgot my nice Nike flip flops and not worth $45 to have them ship back. Otherwise a great stay and we would book again.

“Management” showed up every day we were here. Had to bring our dogs last minute and they came to collect the pet deposit. Saw another review how owners were watching guests via cameras and it’s unsettling that they knew we had dogs and exactly how many. A simple call or email would have resolved this. I didn’t book a vacation to have people coming into our cabin while we are gone and showing up each day. Won’t book through this company again.

My family had an awesome time staying in the Geronimo cabin. We were 13 people deep and the accommodations were extraordinary. The home was immaculate and had every possible thing that we needed during our stay. The family is still remarking about the beautiful cabin and the awesome location. The staff was helpful and kept us informed when changes occurred. We will definitely book with Beaver Bend Vacation Getaways again.

We love Beavers Bend. My family go every year for Christmas and it’s so peaceful and relaxing. Kasie is real nice and if we have any issues she responds back quickly. You won’t regret booking with them.

Overall a good stay. Cabin was little older with a bit of a musty smell upon entering but cleared away pretty quick with a fall candle I brought. Everything was comfortable and had anything one needed. Lighting was lacking. Kitchen/living area was dark. Figuring out the gas fireplace was a little tricky and dark to see when lighting the pilot light. OveralI would stay here again. Beds comfortable…great location!

My family enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Our Father's House Cabin. We could not have asked for a better experience. The cabin was very clean, spacious and perfect for visiting and entertaining. Location is in the middle of everything Hochatown has to offer. Kasie was so courteous for the several phone calls to add one more visitor or pet. Will definitely be a return guest.
