This is your basic motel, not a hotel, if you are working out of town or on a hunting trip with your buddies its just fine but if you are with your wife and kids I would give it a hard pass, a happy life is a happy wife and she won't be here! The rooms are very plain and basic and not dirty but you definitely don't get that clean feeling when you walk into them either.
Amenities are very limited to non-existeence, no vending machine, no pool, just a place to get clean and get some sleep.

The general appearance was run down. The front door stays locked and you have to ring a bell to get staff, even at 3:00 pm in the afternoon. Certainly doesn't give a warm, fuzzy feeling on arrival. Staff at desk looked confused when I asked to check in, even though I had reserved the room a month or so ahead of time. Room had a mildew smell when we walked inside. Window left open and smell cleared out. General housekeeping was in need of a redo. Surfaces like door and walls were obviously dirty. Hole in bathroom wall was just creepy. I did not have great expectations, considering the price, but the room was even below those low standards. Beds were ok, but had no blanket besides the 1980's fitted comforter. Those were removed and we used throws brought from home. 2 flat pillows on each bed. Towels were clean, but rough and small. Two towels and washrags provided, even though room would sleep 4. We stayed 2 nights and were not offered trash to be taken out or fresh/extra towels. Doors have simple key lock like on an interior door and the chain was not anchored and could have very easily been forced open. The large window next to the door was almost as tall as the door and could have easily been used to gain entry if someone wanted to get inside. Overall not someplace I would want to stay ago, but since there is little choice in town, we will probably be back next year.

I purchased a room at the Sportsman Inn last night. One step in the room and I was immediately hit with an awful smell. The room was absolutely disgusting and filthy. The walls and door had crud on them everywhere. The bathroom was equally disgusting with a strained shower curtain and stained walls. There even appeared to be dried blood on the bathroom wall. Even the television had something smeared on the screen and the mirror had something splattered on it. I have stayed in 100's of hotels across the US and Canada. Most were good and a few not so good but I have never experienced lodging a bad as the Sportsman Inn in Antlers, OK. It's on a whole different level of disgusting. It was so bad that I refused to stay there and requested my money back and of course they refused. After refusing to stay there, I canceled my plans in Antlers for the following day and I drove 3.5 hours home that night. Don't make the same mistake as me and avoid this place like the plague.

I called all day to try to get a room and could not get anyone to answer. What kind of buisness is this if you can't get a answer on the phone to even rent a room... I give it a big fat 0...... very very poor service..... not happy with this motel at all.....

We have stayed a number of times when in town. The motel was just a place to sleep and really I didn't expect much at all. The last visit to town was my last to stay at Sportsman. The staff is always very nice but there is absolutely no way I will pay to stay in less than sanitary conditions ever again. ||||In my last few visits we have tolerated rooms with toilets that leaked at the base, showers/ tubs that were less than sanitary looking and even sheets that were not clean on the bed. I chose not to ask what happened in the room with previous tenants that required that much sheetrock work to be done, it was obvious because the large patches are not painted. This past visit though was to a room that had much nicer carpet and a flat screen TV..amenities not found in my other visits...and just when I thought that things were looking up...the circus started with a parade of roaches coming under the door. ||||I was disgusting. To watch the number of bugs scatter was fascinating and terrifying all at the same time, every time the lights came on. My luggage rode home on the trailer with my ATVs and unpacked in my garage to make sure that I didn't have any stowaways. Really, really gross.||||I am done with the Sportsman and not coming back. If I wanted to sleep with bugs...well I would have just slept outside.

Stayed here over the weekend. Was very quiet and managment was very understanding when i asked to view a room first. Found no bugs and air worked great! Had no complaints or problems except the pool has been taken out that had been there a while but as far as cleanliness and hospitality i was very impressed and for a great price! Gave 5 stars

The rooms were dated to say it nice. Our bathroom toilet did not work kept backing up and over flowing when flushed. Ghetto neighbors drinking loudly and working on vehicles all night. Over priced for one night however get a good rate if you're stay is a week or more

Photos are deceiving. Only for the hard core. If you need a specific level of comfort or feeling of security this is not the place for you. I would not take children. Only adults on a budget that need a place to crash. My significant other slept with clothes on due to sketchness level. We camp often and are rugged folks.You might fair better in the woods. This should be a last resort.
