Clerks were the best part of our stay. Nice and polite.
Room/bathroom were clean.
Main problem here, is they need to do some repairs and upkeep/upgrades.
Bed sconce did not even have a lamp in it. Curtains are shredded. Tub was partial stopped up. Took a shower in 3" of water.
Back door electronic lock would not work and apparently hasn't for a while.
Continental breakfast is the normal few choices.
At least they are pet friendly. The main reason I chose here.

We got to the hotel at 2 and they said we would have to pay $25 more if we wanted to check in because check in wasn’t until 3 pm. No big deal, we went out and came back. Then after I had checked in, the front desk rep says “Oh you know about the $100 extra deposit charge right?” Nope. Also the indoor pool was closed for winter maintenance. Not sure what the purpose of having an indoor pool is if you can’t use it during winter. Then we get to the room and there’s some black flaky stuff in the toilet and one of the towels already looks used. Fine. We turn on the air because the room was stuffy and it loudly squeaked so we ran it for a very short time and turned it off. Then it would just automatically kick on randomly throughout the night, LOUDLY, and wake us up. They didn’t have any coffee in the lobby ready, it was only made when the continental breakfast opened. We decided to skip that due to everything else, except my husband tried the apple juice and said it tasted spoiled. |Also, our coffee pot was RIGHT next to the toilet. We weren’t about to use the cups out of that. Gross. Definitely will not be staying here ever again. Not worth saving $20, the Holiday Inn is much nicer and the pool actually works.

I probably should have read these first before booking
.lesson learned. We live about 45 min from this hotel and I booked this property because it was close to the arrowhead speedway and that it was a best western hotel. We checked in about 230, Ashley was great, the lobby was gorgeous and checked in without issue and super friendly. We get to the room doing a once over, fridge door was open and turned off, we turned it back on
floors creaked, coffee creamer packet was open as if it weren’t changed in between guests and there was stuff in and on the ac unit. We didn’t use the coffee maker. At this point, these things were small potatoes compared to what we dealt with the next morning. Walls are super thin, so when people talk it sounds like they’re in the room with you. Beds weren’t the best-there was a noticeable gap between the mattress and the wall. We had 4 small pillows and had to ask for extra blanket. Our room seemed clean other than some overlooked items
we went down to have breakfast and another guest had said he’d stayed there a lot and they updated the juice machine but downgraded their sausage
I said well, i guess they have tno balance it out somewhere right? lol. Well, only thing good on breakfast was the waffle and juice, gravy was runny and biscuits had no flavor. We went back up to the room, had a nap and woke up about 1030. As we were getting ready, we here a knock on our door, I go and open it and the housekeeper is moving from our door to the one next to us and I told her that we’re almost out
she immediately says that she wasn’t knocking on our door but the one next door. I said I saw your feet at the door and heard you. She immediately got on the defensive. So that put me in a mood. I have 10+ years working in the hotel industry, you do not knock on doors before checkout unless there’s probable cause to do so or there’s an emergency
which there was neither
Went down to check out of the hotel. Ashley again was great, nice and friendly
I asked her what the hotel policy was on knocking on doors before checkout time and the same housekeeper that didn’t have a name tag, red hair short and glasses, said don’t start that crap with me, I said excuse me? I’m asking a question and talking to front desk, not you. She then proceeds to inform me with attitude that she didn’t knock on my door and was knocking on other doors and kept on and on
her attitude is beyond not suitable for customer service. In the end she did mention of our dnd on our door and was sorry we heard her knocking (with attitude). As I said I’ve worked in the hotel industry a long time and have worked for the best western franchise (in Branson,mo) as a customer visiting a hotel, I was let down tremendously. The room issues were small potatoes compared to unruly staff engagement. I can guarantee you that I will never stay at this property again and make sure none of my family or friends stay either.

We had a small problem with the Jacuzzi but the staff were incredibly friendly and lovely people, they were going to immediately put us in a room with a working Jacuzzi straight away and failing that issue a refund for the difference between the luxury and standard rooms.
Honestly if not for the Jacuzzi issue this place is straight 5 stars very lovely place and we will come again. 🙂

Had a rough time getting a refund after being overcharged. Had a booking for 2 nights that I did not make. Booking was made through hotels.com with option to pay at the hotel. Email from hotels.com clearly stated that a no show would be charged for just the first night. Hotel went on to charge me double my original 2 day booking (almost $700) for a stay I did not make. After multiple calls to the hotel and to Expedia (who now apparently owns hotels.com) I finally got a refund for half the amount charged after 6 days due to the fact that manager was away at training and no one else could issue the refund. Had to make extra calls to finally talk to the manager himself days later. At this point my cc statement had closed reflecting a higher balance, I had been on the phone for well over 4 hours total and the manager was still reluctant to refund the amount charged over the first night stay. He seemed to not know his own policy and I had to send him a picture of the email from hotels.com showing that a missed stay should be charged for only the first night.
Overall rough experience and will not be booking this hotel in the future.

I will however state that the ladies at the reception who answered my phone calls were super understanding and courteous even though they were limited in what the could do to help.

We arrived accompanied by our service dog, lady down the hallway who was also a guest started harassing my husband even accused him of trying to get into her room. The woman called to the front desk and said my husband was “pacing the hallways with the dog.” Received a call around 9 after arriving back to the room. Front desk apologized for the woman down the hall stated she was going to be removed for her behavior. Lady was not removed, later in the night the toilet became clogged we were told there is no Maintenance available or plunger on the property that we could use the bathroom upfront. I asked to speak with a manager, front desk stated she would call. At 1130 received a knock on the door that a message was left hours prior when she called but no call was returned from the manager, also offered to plunge toilet hours after when we were checking out of hotel.

Rooms are clean and staff was friendly. Check-in was quick. I appreciated having a microwave, adjustable temp fridge, and great water pressure. It is good value for money. Breakfast had lots of options. We had a stressful time trying to change a reservation that caused a bit of a headache, but in the end the management called us and sent a nice email apologizing.
