This is the poorest excuse of a hotel, or at least my room was the poorest excuse for a room. Upon entry, the floor was sticky, the walls were very stained, the entire room smelled like mold / mildew. The customer service is complete dog shit. I never got any room service the three nights I stayed there, the bathroom drain head backed up and there was just water sitting which they also never fixed while I stayed there,
I ended up cleaning their floor with water and one of their own towels which is one of the pictures I added. Smoke alarm was hanging on by a thread and didn't even seem to work. They were missing parts of the ceiling....I mean I wouldn't put a prisoner here. But my dog and I did the best we could to manage.
The most frustrating part is that for hurricane Ian I actually stayed at this exact same hotel in 2017 and they had free food buffet style for all the evacuees, and the room was significantly cleaner that I stayed in, plus the customer service was much better.
I give this hotel negative 5 stars and will never stay here again. Could do better in a tent.

They advertised it as remodeled but it was bad. The mattress had body imprints worn into it. Where you would hang your clothes was broken and on the floor. The ceiling texture was falling off. No iron, no coffee pot, and the TV screen was a blue hue with app access only that was constantly reloading. The vent fan in the bathroom had no cover, and the toilet top was not from the same toilet and didn't fit. I laid down for 30 minutes and just got up and left to find me another hotel. Don't waste your time or money.

I've stayed here many times. Generally you can't complain about a low budget hotel. However, I will make a few complaints only to qualify my experience.
I arrived 5 days ago expecting to stay 4. I purchased on Expedia.
This hotel has a marquee for advertising. It consistently advertises $35 / Night or $250/wk. I've seen the sign each time I have stayed advertising the price of $250. I usually would be here 4-5 days.
Upon learning I would need to stay an additional week, I went to the front desk to extend. I was told the rate was $488 a week. I expressed that the sign says $250/weekly right now and pointed to it. The clerk responded that was the price before the remodel. I almost started laughing. My room hasn't been touched in 20 years. I have electrical outlets that won't hold a plug in, holes in the wall, wall switch outlets sticking out. A toilet that uses 10 gallons a flush, if it flushes. My bed scares me. Look at the pic of the ceiling (hope not asbestos) The air conditioner I am surprised works at all.
When I stay at a place like this I know the negatives.
I feel "bait and switched". If I was in a newly renovated room, I could see myself just accepting the price justification. The problem is.... THE SIGN IS STILL ADVERTISING $250/WK. It is dishonest and they know it! Change the sign! I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me.
I ended up rebooking through Red Roof Corporate for $388. One hundred less than the front desk quoted to me but still 100 more than the marquee sign.
I have found the staff to be responsive, pleasant and for "time and place" a great stay.
I would suggest staying here but make sure of the rate.
Oh..... if you are a family or could be made to feel vulnerable. This isn't your place. A working business owner that counts every penny (me), this is where we stay!

Hey... It's a place to stay. Who knows how many transactions and favors occurred on the bed I slept in, but it was decent for a night. If you can spend a little bit more, get a better room for sure lol

Had a great experience with the rooms and service (locked myself out once and they gave a second keycard)! In the room I stayed in (278) the only small problem (for anyone without hostspot or data) is the WiFi reach is short and my personal Nintendo switch will disconnect if I move it away from the wall.
Other than that it’s clean and comfortable. Would return again!

Nobody at the front desk because the Indian worker was across the street buying his 12 pack of beer for the night. It was supposed to be non-smoking rooms, but you could smell the smoke PLUS it was advertised new renovation, which I didn't see any of. Pass this place by and find something else

The attendant wasn't very friendly. I booked 3 rooms as I have a crew working out of town. They couldn't get all of their paperwork straight and swiped my credit card about 7 times. They over charged my card for almost $200. The rooms were worse to be remodeled, but they were awful.

The renovated studio rooms are nice and clean. Good water pressure in my room. Wifi worked well on my phone and laptop. All my appliances were brand new - microwave, fridge etc. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, walmart 0.4 miles away
